That's what I was thinking, but personally I can suspend my disbelief enough to imagine the prison is in some kind of auto-correct box and that everything going on inside is the other half of the distraction
Active stabilization prevents this. Cruise ships have passive stabilization, it is possible but cargo ships typically arent fitted with active
no one thinks a prison would be in a literal ship
If youre not famlier with the feeling its easy to dismiss as jus feeling ill from, beatings, malnursimnent, torture chambers, lack of sunlight and horizon, etc etc
In the movie Stallone mentions the size of the ship plus stabilizers keep the ship steady

how do you not feel the constant movement of the ship tho
@@danielanthony1054there might have been some coils to suppress the feeling and as long as the ship was moving with static speed, they couldn't feel anything (like you can stand up in a train and not feel anything when it's going 125mph)

I like how the movie forgets to mention what crime Emil/Mannheim was convicted of in order to end up in super-mega-ultra-prison. In my head cannon, after Ray has been through this amazing adventure with Emil/Mannheim, they go out for beers, they're cracking jokes together, having a great time, Ray is starting to soften his views on criminal justice, and then:
Ray: "So you never did tell me how you ended up in there."
Emil/Mannheim: "Oh... just some bullshit... you know how it is. I mean, what even is the age of consent anyway? It's a totally made up number."
Ray: "..."
Emil/Mannheim: "And then that other nonsense. People eat cow meat every day without even thinking about it but somehow it's a big deal if someone enjoys human meat from time to time? It's ridiculous. Anyway, thanks for getting me out buddy."

What I always found funny about this movie is that despite the villain creating the prison from Stallone’s character’s own notes. Stallone was still able to escape within 4 hours. If that prison wasn’t in the sea, Stallone would have been gone.

Unfortunately it's a complete myth - one I believed too for many years. The coriolis effect only affects large bodies of water/air - certainly not toilets or baths. If there is a difference in direction, it's a combination of the shape of the exit pipe and random interactions in the fluid dynamics of the water. Good day to you.
