In my opinion, if it comes to the top there most ruthless and merciless characters towards evil people when it comes to good guys, they are 1. Agent 47 2. Robert Mcall aka the Equalizer 3. John Wick
It's crazy how much they butchered the lore of this. Agent 47, canonically, has ALWAYS killed his targets in such a way as it looks like an accident. He's never killed anyone who was not his target.
“Agent 47 canonically has always killed his targets… He never killed anyone who was not his target.” Target as in a person who needs to kill? Not target as in anyone else? Well in that then you are mistaken, considering in the games you can kill people that aren’t agent 47 targets. Unless in lore game says agent 47 kill his target without killing anybody else, well that isn’t always the case. Considering in the game you got non target people who tried to kill agent 47, and yet they all died to him.
@@SpokeNyan1390 In the game, you wouldn't get silent assassin if you killed anyone who was not your target. Silent assassin was the canonical result of the game(s).
@@lordkrythic6246 Hmmm okay I realized that by now. But wait a minute, is this movie based off of the game’s lore/story? In other words is the movie canon towards the game counterpart. Because to my knowledge it isn’t so what do you mean by the movie butchered the lore? Now just because the movie isn’t 100 percent based off of the game doesn’t mean it is butchering the lore. It’s like the Batman movies, where Batman isn’t super duper smart or have his comic book parts, but in the movies it just Batman but the movie use him in its own way. Just like any other movie like Agent 47 the movie for example, where it uses hitman from the game but in its own way. So yeah…
@@SpokeNyan1390 Just did some googling to make sure of the following statement, and I'm good to go. Agent 47, and all of the Hitman lore, is not based upon any story, novel, book, etc. It's the sole creation for the purpose of the video games. Therefore, the movie is an adaptation of the games, and the movie did NOT follow the canonical lore of the games. I rest my case.
@@lordkrythic6246 Objection, you are in fact wrong on the following quoted statement: “Agent 47, and all of the Hitman lore, is not based upon any story, novel, book, etc. It's the sole creation for the purpose of the video games.” Now the reason why you are wrong will be provided right now. Is that you said the character Agent 47 and his lore is not based off of any other media other than a video game. A video game which is its origin of story, character, and lore. Now the problem with this statement is that you trying to act like a game’s character isn’t like any other media’s character. Such as a comic, book, novel and so on. So because of this, let me show you the next following quote which is now wrong: “Therefore, the movie is an adaptation of the games, and the movie did NOT follow the canonical lore of the games.” See this is wrong considering similar to any other media, game or comic or novel and etc. The Agent 47 movie is based OFF of the game character and lore BUT the movie is doing its own take on the character. You think that is a problem well it shouldn’t be considering there are in fact many other movies with characters that aren’t 100 percent based off its original source material. But in fact is based off of the character and the movie doing its own take of it. So for example the Christian bale batman movies have character like bane, but it isn’t comic accurate bane, it just uses bane in its own way. Yet does that mean the Christopher Nolan Batman movies are butchering the lore from the comics? No. Does it make a bad movie because of its adaptation of Bane? No. So in the movie of agent 47, which isn’t based off of the literal game but uses the lore and characters from the game, all while using its own take of the character for the plot to work. Are you really upset that this movie for supposedly butchering the lore when it is in fact not based off of the game literally? Because if you think the movie is based off of the game, then I wonder where is his mini map? Where’s his slow motion aim? Where is his regeneration? And so on. So now for the time being your case is dismissed.
Because u didnt watch the movie. Katia didnt know that she also been programmed as a "sensory soldier" So, 47 tell her that she have been programmed by her father too, just like him. This reminds me of the books by Christine Feehan, the Ghost Walkers series, except he ain’t no ghost. He goes anywhere he wants. Doesn’t care if he’s seen.
Not as horrible a movie as I thought it would be, but still not worthy of the legendary video game franchise's title(sure it's called World Of Assassination now, but still)
I couldn't get along with it. Timothy Oliphant was completely the wrong choice for Agent 47, but more than that. Hitman is a stealth game, not a First Person Shooter. The film feels like a straight-to-DVD action shooter and basically missed the point of its source material. It's all a bit disjointed and confusing.

Didn't Agent 47 leave Kardia in front of a jet engine to kill her, now they're best buddies, anybody else confused?
Because u didnt watch the movie.

So, 47 tell her that she have been programmed by her father too, just like him.
So, 47 prove his point by leaving katia in front of the aircraft engine to make katia realize that she hv been programmed as he speak.

She and 47 hv been programmed by her father.
Yes you are the only one confused
