someone may have shared this tip already, or by now you may have learned this in premiere, but you can select your audio and the clip you want to sync, and then right click and 'sync'. does it for you automatically. ALSO I just learned a quicker way to cut/slice footage is creating the keyboard shortcut 'f' to cut and it will make things go a lot quicker. as well as utilizing 'q' and 'w' to quickly shave off what you don't want from the left or right of the footage you just cut. it will remove everything up to the sliced footage or end of the footage. hopefully that makes sense lol. For everyone stressing about video editing software - look into DaVinci Resolve! It's free and a lot of companies actually even use it for feature films (pretty sure Marvel does). You have everything in one place - from the basic editing to sound design, special effects and colour grading. If you like the doodle effect, you can do it in this program as well in the special effects tab (called fusion in the program). If you have an iPad you can connect it to your laptop and mirror the screen so you can draw directly on the frames of the film which allows you to have a live preview of how it's going to look like in the film. It's a bit complicated at first to learn, but I've been using it for almost 3 years for my film degree at uni and I absolutely love it!
