They look great! I really love that you show you first time attempts and natural mishaps that you have with trying something for the first time, makes it less daunting to think about trying new things!

Great first caps! Don't forget about gloves 🧤 And as others was pointing out, pressure pot will help get rid of the bubbles. Even diy one with 20-25 psi

you can use a cheap pro grade vacuum pot to get rid of bubbles, and a quirk with them is that its really satisfying (pressure pots also work but are generally more expensive)

I'd love to have some Resin Caps. As long as they're mixed with the right ratio so the cured resin isn't toxic. Orange like those old 7-Segment displays

Great first attempt! If you really want to make them bubble free then I would recommend a pressure pot. Two channels that I watch for resin work are Robert Tolone and Rybonator, you might want to check them out if you plan on doing more resin keycaps.

Super late comment but I recently became interested in making keycaps aswell! As others have stated with the gloves, respirator masks are also a definite must for your health when working with Resin. Had to comment just incase, because not a lot of people are aware of the risks. Stay safe and keep on customizin on!

Do you recommend over filling the mold and then cutting it? I'm scared to not put enough resin and mess up my project

For sure, you can always remove but can never add more.

Hey man, you really need to wear gloves, epoxy can be extremely toxic. Also maybe weigh the resin or measure it somehow, as uneven mixing rates can cause the cured part to be toxic as well, as some in cured parts can still be present... :)
