We knew big trucks were a big issue, but not this big. After our previous story on them, all hell broke loose. There was fear and there was anger; anger at the truckies and the trucking companies for risking innocent lives, and anger at the politicians for letting them get away with it. But most of all, you wanted your say, some form of national debate to spark some kind of national action. We arranged that debate. All sides came together; truckies, truck owners, politicians, accident victims and their families from all over Australia. And we began with a recap - the drug revelations that really scared the living daylights out of viewers.
