I love how the crowd roars with applause the moment George says “No, Biff. You leave her alone” and when he punches Biff. It just goes to show how much people love this film and its characters.
People go on about Marty and Doc (rightly) but everyone forgets that George McFly is a big part of what made the movie successful. People loved his character, he was so funny but also you rooted for him. It's such a shame he wasn't in the sequels. They would have been even better with him. I went to see this live and everyone cheered for George the same as they did here.
I had only ever seen it on home video as a kid until 2010 when it rereleased in theaters. That was the first time I heard an audience go wild for George’s scenes.
This movie came out in 1985 and that the same year when Terry Farrell was in The Cosby Show. Where she came into the house with Dr. Cliff Huxable and his wife Claire to talk about their relationship about themselves and Cliff hearing and music up to the room was Clyde music.
They would if they could, they legally can't. They can not make a sequel, reboot, TV series, streaming series or anything like that. Maybe ever. The creators made it that way. They absolutely would have made more if they could have. And these days they woulda woked the shit out of it anyway and turned it into a disaster like star wars. So maybe be grateful that they can't.

It was one of the greatest events I've ever been to, outside maybe John Williams in concert.
I’m back to being a kid again. I am so thankful for BTTF…
