This was the first year my kids experienced John Williams. (Maybe the last, but I hope he has another year left in him) and they were asleep by the second act. At least the Imperial March woke them up and they liked it. 😆🤣

I know, it’s late for kids 😀 I hope he comes back again as well!

His list of works is so long he could literally fill a weekend & call it WILLIAMSTOCK.

John Williams is the only Silver Age composer still active today, Jerry Goldsmith, Morton Stevens, Bernard Herrmann, Henry Mancini, Alex North, Fred Steiner, Sol Kaplan, Elmer Bernstein, Ennio Morricone, Dominic Frontiere and Alexander Courage among many others of the Silver Age are all gone now and Lalo Schifrin, Dave Grusin and Quincy Jones still live but are mostly retired now.

Lovely. I wish they would have one screen for the orchestra and one screen for Williams so people can look back and forth between him and the musicians. It’s not like they don’t enough screens.

It was ok. He didn't do jurassic park, jaws, or superman. And he didn't play the scenes of anything except the BFG (the big fucking guy), which I mean who cares about that. I was there the first night. I expected more. Hans zimmer in concert was better, he did pretty much all his main hits and the production value was epic.

Also I have seen Hans Zimmer's concert which is awesome but Han's is not 90 years old and still conducing the LA Phil! So sit down and just enjoy the music! Haha!

@@michaelseguramusic7150 true he is pretty old! It was cool just expected more seeing vids from only a a couple years ago where he does way more. I mean for $1200 dollars to sit the garden section. I demand Jurassic freaking park!

@@BG-zv5bk I mean I get you but you could saved $1200 and join us in the back sections with a glass or two of wine and had awesome time!!! haha!

@@michaelseguramusic7150 it's ok I was in my box with my food up close. It was bad ass, just two more songs and I would have been satisfied. Give me jaws and a Superman suite to take us out and I'm good.

I agree with you. I was expecting a little bit more, but I enjoyed the concert. That was the first time I saw him in person, and the orchestra performing his songs live!
