This bike looks amazing!
Really diggin this new Honda. Just wish they could get the weight in the ballpark of the KTM 450. 11 pound difference and if you add a started to this Honda you are looking at 19 pounds more than an 450KTM with a starter. That is a HUGE difference. And this Honda has ti tank and still way overweight. But, it's a starting point. Once you ride steel frame it's hard to go back to the harness of alum. though. But man, this bike has to be the best looking dirt bike right now. Hoping for a new 2018 KTM unless this thing loses some weight. Come on Honda... put this thing on a diet...please:-)

Honda likes to keep it simple but effective.
I hope it has the 08 power curve I bought the 13 and even with yoshi rs9 s it would not hit near as hard as my 08 and 5 th gear power wheelies uh forget it . It’s my boys bike now 18 or 19 better be good

Motocross action is getting on my nerves how they refer to Ktm, like in the December issue when they test the rmz all they say is how much better the Ktm is and the rmz is junk and when they test the new Honda they pretty much do the same thing

4 strokes have been slowly killing motocross, just think how exciting motocross was in 2006 10 years ago with 2 strokes and 4 strokes complementing each other. Just bring back the true motocross light and snappy bikes, 2 strokes

I agree some what with you. However, I think the major reason for killing motocross is the stupid price dealer are asking for. People are getting ripped off. I know in my home town, all dealers owned by big corporations, and they stick it to people so far is not even funny, like $14,000 for just about any MX 450 brands. So I travel to my near state own by individual owner and make deal with those people at 1/2 the price what those thieves dealers ripping people off with. (I personally will go to the moon to get a better deal, unfortunately some people are too lazy to do that, and allow these dealers to rip them off). Do you remember what the price was in 2006 or even before that??????? Anyway just my 2 cents. I do LOVE 2 strokes bikes. I loved them then, and still love them now.

just got January's issue..very disappointed in the test. after looking at all the ads from ktm and husqvarna. .motocross action will give all awards to ktm and husqvarna. shameful reporting! do your own homework out at the tracks and make your buying decision on which bike to buy! motocross action has went to the trump side.

All new bikes have this stupid modern technology and aesthetic pleasing bullshit that does nothing for people who want to ride their local track. I love Hondas and always will...but they need to go back to 07/08. If you want black rims, buy it yourself, kook. if you want electric start, put in on yourself you lazy turd.
