@@CheckeredPony well.... for the money that costs.... and it wasnt much when comparing it to other new cars, you wouldn't get too far with that.
That particular car is one of the very few new cars I'd buy if I had the money. I like older vehicles far better than most new ones.
I'd probably throw mods at the Demon too but I wouldn't do anything to a car that only was made for 1 year unless I could return it to stock as well... that's me though.
@@199jl that's where your wrong pal, i never buy new cars and where im from that thing would cost 5 times the price if not more, rather just buy a classic muscle car and mod the hell out of it which would still be overpriced but you wont have all the downsides of modern cars

If you order the seats can you take them in and out with a handy dandy release latch? When they showed the inside of the box that you take to the drag strip it looked like the drag rims had no tires mounted. How does one mount the tires without the equipment?

@@AvenueI77 The Durango replacement has already been designed, and shown to dealerships. It's apparently gonna have some v6 engines, but no V8, be closer to the expedition and suburban in size. The dodge stealth is the name of an electric SUV that will take the place of the current Durango in terms of size. Apparently it's more futuristic and sporty looking, could be promising.
Dodges own CEO said v8s are done, they're calling their current V8 muscle cars last call editions for a reason.
Ford is keeping the V8 in the mustang for all of the s650's run, to about 2030, and Ford's CEO said they'll probably offer a V8 in the mustang going beyond 2030 in the next generation as well.
@@AvenueI77 Basically FCA and GM are saying the future will be mostly EVs, but Ford is saying it needs to be a mix of gas only, hybrids, and EVs to appeal to all buyers without forcing things on people.

Re watching this after the 170 Vegas reveal, this actually feels more special and more of a show than the 170 reveal, now the helicopter feels so cheesy and unnecessary lol. Starting with the color, they really should've picked at least a legacy color for the 170 if they just didn't want to go with red again... maybe bring another celebrity and for more than just 5 minutes at the very end lol

He didn't say it wasn't track legal, he said it was banned from track competition. in other words, it would not be permitted in any organized competition on the track unless you with your friends or something.
Jadarius Pennyfeather my local track would not allow you to run that unless it had a cage. Anything under 10's requires that. Therefore not track legal. One run and done

Boy they are hyping this up. I'll bet the real world numbers are not what they claim with a normal average driver. These numbers were pulled by professional drivers. We already saw the hellcat not get close to what they claimed it could do. 0-60 couldn't crack 4 seconds because the tires couldn't even hook up.Anyone considering buying this better call Hagerty for a price quote first. I just acquired my 14 Super Snake Widebody and they first quoted me 435 bucks a month!!!! Insane!!! Me being 35 yrs old with a flawless driving record in the last 5 years. Then when they found out it had 880 hp (more then this Demon), they then said they wouldn't even insure it because hp was too high. So you better be able and prepared to spend some serious bucks for insurance.

If you can afford the car, you can afford the insurance. I voided my warranty 6 months after purchasing my car when I installed a supercharger/meth injection/headers. Being over 50 helps keep insurance premiums low. Hats off to Dodge for having the balls to build and release such a beast. I seriously doubt they have any trouble moving the 3k units planned for production...
