The Blazer Indonesia Club (BIC) was founded on September 15 2001. The initial idea for its establishment was initiated by the desire of Blazer and Montera users at that time to be able to communicate about their vehicles which they felt were quite specific in their maintenance. Then a mailing list was created [e-mail]. With the formation of the mailing list (created by Uncle Satyo Nugroho) communication traffic was created via cyberspace which then arose the desire to meet in the real world, the cool term is "land coffee". From this ground coffee, the idea emerged to form a community of users of this vehicle, at which time a vote was held to select the name of the club, which ultimately resulted in the name Blazer Indonesia Club.
