You are really so good at explaining what we ought to be doing with each part of our body in order to feel the most supported during our practice. AND I love how you offer times of just moving how we want, that freedom feels very healing too. You’re just awesome Esther.
I found you in 2016 after completing my 200hr yoga teacher training and have enjoyed your videos thru the years. Started my morning with this short session and was the perfect way to begin my day & week ahead. thank you for inspiring me to get back to a daily practice. all the best, Lola (in Charlotte)
Esther, thank you for reminding us that 'less is more' - gone is the 'rush' & currently greater opportunity to work on/experience calm and peace and wish such for others too.
Thank you Ester, You are a true saint and when your time comes you will go to heaven on a rocket, Im sure! I am only now seeing this, I want to sign up and pay I live in U.S.A I will try I hope it will accept. God bless you dear angelic lady
I started doing yoga in 1993 because of a car accident. I was T-ed by another car, couldn't walk, & my physical therapist used yoga to heal me. This video reminds me of the level I was at when she released me from PT... "average adult" level, according to her. So this is safe for everyone! You might not be as flexible but should be able to complete this without injury. My PT said that if it is difficult you just need to do it more often. ^_^ If you are out there, Michelle, I'm still doing my yoga!!!
Hi Esther (I trust it is you personally, or get this message delivered), I have come a long way since then, in terms of calendar years and yoga years. I give workshops on my chosen speciality, Pranayama - as hobby, and happy. Yes, I hope, I will see you face-to-face one day. Even without my warm regards an well wishes, also to Sandra Carson and Esther Teule. Hari Om!
Thank you so much, Esther. I feel as though I have had you as a guide and support for my practice for a very long time, and I hugely appreciate your work. Namaste.
there were two things I couldn't do because of a bruise so i's mean that I am in a good place just need to take it slow and brake down the movement into slow pieces... thank you for being on the web...,
Thank you dear Esther, if one has a little more time to keep the pace of the class slower and the resting time seated or in Savasana longer for meditation xx it would be a beautiful class for the evening as well
Hello? I love yoga, and I love your classes. I am wondering if you have any advice, because I am going to need surgical repair of the anterior cruciate ligament of my right knee. Do you have any experience with this injury? Thank you for any help !
I’m not a beginner, but this feels like speed-yoga to me, like racing through the poses. For example, in the time she takes to say “downward-facing dog”, she is done with that pose, maybe 1.5 seconds, where it takes me maybe 5 seconds to get *into* a proper down-dog, and then of course I want to hold it for at least a few breaths..
Sometimes a transition pose is only long enough to pass through the pose and take a single breath. It's not meant to be a stopping / resting / holding point. Just breathe and go with the flow. You are doing great. :D
My first time seeing this...thought about starting...but curious if I can do this with my left hip replacement? I'm 61, regularly touch floor with my palms. So my hips are a bit flexible.
Hi Marisa, it's best to get advice from your doctor as hip replacements vary so much. You can certainly still do lots of kinds of yoga but there may be some poses you need to substitute. For example the one in the picture on the video is Half-Moon pose where all of the weight is on the hip joint so I can imagine this might be something they would advise against. As your doctor might not be familiar with yoga poses you can ask more broadly about types of movements such as rotation or weight-bearing movements. If this is the case you could swap Half-moon for Warrior 2 or Triangle pose / Trikonasana in this sequence. Here's a guide to the pose www.ekhartyoga.com/resources/yoga-poses/extended-triangle-pose Hope this helps
I have had difficulty getting my recent 3 month subscription started and no one us responded to my emails . Two so far so I am resorting to publicly messaging you on you tube. Please can you look into my messages. Thanks
I normally like your videos, but this was a half-hearted effort. This is NOT 30 minutes of yoga, as the video length is only 21 minutes. Also, you state in the video it is a 20 minute practice, but 5 minutes includes talking and meditating. Not my favorite

Nice practice, but I haven't a clue what's supposed to be happening with my pelvic floor
