This video reviews content from the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game formerly known as Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game and The Hobbit Strategy Battle Game. MESBG is a skirmish style war game developed by Games Workshop, based off the incredible artwork from the three films by Peter Jackson as well as drawing inspiration directly from the books. Players take control of the forces of good and evil and play out epic moments from the Lord of the Rings in anything from small heroes driven scenarios to epic battles utilising hundreds of models. This board is simply amazing! I also love the idea of including your battle companies in "bigger" scenarios with other warriors.
Thanks Gernot! Glad you liked it! Yeah mixing in the companies with other warriors makes for really interesting flavour! We'll have another one out soon, once i get my Arnor board finished :D

great channel, used to be into LOTR warhammer ages ago and never knew any rules but im getting into diorama's etc. and seing you combine your amazing dioramas with some major nostalgia for me is awesome lol, keep em coming dude!

I thought about it during the video, would you make a terrain (like a house or a tower) that is still in building? I think it could look very cool on a battlefield ^^

Okay, this one is AMAZING! Gorgeous board and very smart and interesting scenario of the highest quality. The only thing is that when you show gopro perspective, sound gets a bit quieter so I had to adjust the sound volume every time. But that s like nothing :)
So next I would very much like to see a complete Edoras siege with arrows flying, using this beautiful outside part of the board! I hope you guys have miniatures for this type of game

Zeljin 2 thanks dude!!!! Glad you liked it. Yeah we're going to try and improve the audio especially the volume and the mic bumps and stuff next time. And dont worry we're already planning on a full Edoras siege battle report haha :D

I obviously have all those models like 10 times over but I'm super excited for how accessible it is going to make the game for new players. More importantly we're finally moving into the new addition and having all the LotR era armies brought up in line with the Hobbit armies. Very exciting stuff. Are you a current player? I'm not currently playing, I used to a very long time ago. But I'm thinking of getting back into it, especially now with the new box set and rules coming out. Disappointed I didnt see the end of this campaign. I loved the series is it possible you could seperate the play lists? Also great work 30 minutes a round awesome. I’ll check out the map campaign

Does the can't reroll a reroll rule also prevent using ur designated battle company re rolls more then once?
