Another great example why consistency is more important than raw pace. That was some really good racing there in both races and so much fun to watch. Shame about the unbelievable misfortune in the first one but the second race was a great redemption. ❤
Hey man awesome video! I was in this race and finished P5. Do love the car, just this track was so narrow to race at. F4 will really shine when they move to larger tracks! Great video bro honestly loved the commentary!
Great driving. Sometimes you dont need to have the best pace you just let the others make mistakes and you pick up the positions :D Great avoidance! Really deserved that P3
A major💩 moment at 8:55 !! Great composure to save that one on the grass, top marks. Crazy race, but hugely entertaining! I still can’t quite believe how so many people are binning this car… it’s so smooth to drive. But it seems to turn drivers into lunatics! Great video, looking forward to following this series 😃
Wow, you do the opposite of me in that chicane, my trick is to touch my rear left on the grass trying to open the exit, threw away many a race like this, think I'm cured now though. You sure you've not got an over rotation button in your cockpit for the opposition, how many cars left the track? Nice little third from nowhere, peachy! Find these very similar to the RR Tatuus, so feel we have a slight advantage in these early rounds, push them an ounce over their grip level and you're off. I love Oulton Park but not sure it makes a great opener for a new single seater, think Hockenheim would have made a better choice. Not going to complain myself though as I have a win under my belt. Another fine video Benjamen, Bravo! p.s. Did I see another La Broca car ahead of you in race one, looked a dead ringer?
Cheers Paul buddy - definitely agree re similarities to the R3E Tatuus, felt very natural. And also agree re the bold choice of Oulton Park for race one! Makes for good highlight reels though 😂😂
Haha thanks Christopher!! Oh dear! Well I skipped Winton this week but should be getting on to Brands from tomorrow - should be a great combo providing people can keep it on the track 😂 Hopefully see you on the grid sometime!
In most cases, I always start last. Can be good, can be not too good. I am not usually the fastest driver but manage to stay on track. I can always count on first lap carnage for a few spots. Then like this example, things happen over time, I feel like I am always the magnet too the people who go off but have no idea how to rejoin the track, or a person who spins and forgets they have a brake pedal. But 3 out of 5 races I manage a better finish then what I should thanks to boneheads
hey, not sure if you'll see this, but i'm making my way through your iracing content (it's great!) and was curious if you could share what your overlay setup is? i tried poking around other videos of yours but couldn't find anything. i'm pretty new so still coming to grips with a lot stuff re: iracing
Hey Kyle! Thanks for commenting man and great that you’re enjoying the videos! So the race overlays are RaceLab Apps! There’s a free and a paid version. I ran the free for a while but I think by this race it’s the paid version as you can customise them more. In later videos I start adding in custom transitions and other race graphics but that’s all done artificially in the video edit not by an app. Hope that’s helpful buddy and always give a shout if I can help as you get going in iracing 👍
Looking back at my terrible move on the track, I wanted to spin the car but it didnt happen, should have gone out of the track, im still sorry to the person which I made crash into me 😔
Ah hey Peter - I love it when people find themselves in the videos. Great racing with you - without accidents you had the better pace I think! And don’t worry too much re the incident at the end - it’s a very difficult place to have an accident and an easy mistake to do the wrong thing on rejoin. Hope to see you on track again!
@@Ben_LaBroca yea the way u analyse the gameplay and call people by their name makes it feel personal! I got pole last game and won it after some tense battling. I love this car/track combination, it's like riding on eggs. The right Fuel and the oulton setup makes me go deep into the 1:19's pretty consistent now. I love these rough and narrow tracks, glad I didnt chose for the F3 this season. Maybe we meet again at Winston 😁
@@Peterjan1995 ah so I haven’t played with setup on these cars yet, just been using the base. I won’t be racing Winton so may do some tweaking for Brands Hatch the following week and maybe see you on track then!!
@@Ben_LaBroca Cheers, it was a great video and you earned a new sub! I love this style of narrated race with an overarching topic. I dont know if I was in this race but this is my split so we’ll definitely be going wheel to wheel in the future!

Great video mate, always impressed at just how good your commentary is. Makes an already exciting race feel that much more intense.

Good racin there Ben! Thanks for sharing w us!

Cool cool cool, very intensive racing, congrat :) How did you make the halo "invisible"? I did not found the setup...
I thought you might like this Gabor! It’s at the top of the setup options in garage on chassis!

Great racing Ben

Great vid. Do I detect a fellow north east accent?
Cheers James! You do indeed - a geordie one at that! You hail from the region too?
@La Broca Sim Racing yeah I live just outside of Durham and I'm a keen sim racer with a full rig etc.

@La Broca Sim Racing well funnily enough I'm originally from down south (Suffolk) but been up here 12 years now. Yeah iRacing and ACC.
How did you get the pod view from the f1 games?
Hey James - if it’s the view I think you mean it’s called “gyro” in the replay cam menu!
How do you make the cockpit translucent so you can see better?
No time to relax there!!

How did you make the central pillar see through?
Hey Stephen - if you go to setup, chassis, you can make the halo transparent 👍
