    Thank you so much Damian. It is hard to be a Catholic these days, but I wouldn't be anything else and it is my Faith. Despite all the difficulties and a bad pope, I love it because it is the True Faith.

    I admire Damian Thompson's frankness. He speaks what he knows and they are well documented...that's why he is a very interesting and no nonsense journalist and commentator...we need clarity these days and Damian is providing that.

    Damian's article written for UnHerd describes Francis is negative terms on the basis of an undisclosed source. He condemned Vigano for publishing a defamatory allegation about Francis "without providing any evidence". Why is Damian's article not guilty of the same thing? He and Vigano both wrote on the basis of undisclosed sources, yet one is without evidence and the other is not?

      Difference is one is an observation by someone close; the other is an accusation of breaching his vows. Not the same.

    • @tombretislow7091

      @@robertmeyers8138 That doesn't change the fact that both wrote on the basis of undisclosed sources and Damian regarded that as writing "without providing any evidence". So the difference you point out is irrelevant.

    An Archbishop knows how to discern and what to say. If an Archbishop who has a good reputation makes a comment, it is not a careless comment. When it comes to having evidence, how does one get proof of others' sin? If you are secretly guilty of sin and someone else knows it, it's an act of mercy to call you out on it in the hope it makes you humble yourself and seek forgiveness from God before it's too late.

      I’m afraid we all feel conflicted as we’ve experienced some very well directed, although not perfect, popes over our lifetimes. I believe Heaven will intercede asGod is loving and merciful but just.

    This past week while in a used bookstore, I came across a book written by Fr. M. Rupnik and was very surprised. I know now he has written at least five books. The last one (2019) w/o my giving full title was. . ."Spiritual Theology...with Pope Francis' Church."

    Wonderful episode. Looking forward to part 2. I do have something against Damian. I can sympathise with his anger w.r.t cowardly Catholic journalists. And sorry to say he must join their ranks when he chooses to remain silent about the coofid plandaemonium. He uses a favourite term of his 'conspiracy theory' (knowing it is an epithet wielded by entrenched power to stop scrutiny) and 'covid' in the same sentence just like mockingbird media have done since the start. He hasn't changed his tune after the litany of lies have been revealed after four years? To not speak to the overflowing lethal lies connected with that operation is truly infernal. Damian equivocates when he judges co-inspiration of men with shared interests and ends meet privately to achieve those ends - St Gallen mafia - isn't a 'conspiracy', or say a mere board meeting of a rapacious transnational isn't. But when money, power, and its sword -the military industrial complex (see duediligenceandart sub stack) co-incidentally! find that power annealing after clear and distinct planning for 'emergency' (which wasn't, see bailiwicknews sub stack) - it suddenly becomes a pejorative 'conspiracy theory'. See documentary 'The Biodefense Mafia' by WeAreIceni.
    It took a healthy person 5min research to know the LNP-synthetic modRNA injection was p01son, and a tiny fraction of the journalistic instinct Damian adverts to, to notice all the most suspicious people ie known liars, were promoting it. And still to this day he won't be drawn on it? His credibility and life in the hands of BigPharma, Gates, Wellcome Trust, the WEF, and Blackrock and a coincidence theory? they suddenly cared about health of majorities? This does as much harm to his message as he says Abp Vigano is doing. How can he not see this?

    Covenant, non-presumed reciprocity between family member identity and helper of the family role requires authorisation by family member identity role.
    This was the case with Pope Francis in his family member identity and the Vatican and Italian state helper of his family roles authorised by Pope Francis' consecrated role identity marriage vowed to man in Christ in the cases of embezzlements of his procreation role gift charity donations by ten of his Vatican state helpers of his family, including Cardinal Angelo Becciu, and unacceptable risk of fraud on need of union of his identity in his consecrated celibate role identity marriage.
    Alleged "tactical strategy of remaining inscrutable" of Pope Francis is in error an occult as hidden, incest connected as substitute mate, presumption.

      Absp. Vigano is privy to so much inside knowledge about the goings in at the Vatican as does Robert Moynihan it takes courage to be a whistleblower as the “Dictator Pope” has the ability to crush his adversaries, often in a very stealthy manner. Bravo for him to finally get McCarrick laicized but the pope did not let him be tried to the fullest extent. Plus, Pope Francis had McCarrick sell out the Church in China to the Communists before he sent him packing.

    • @marcokite
      @marcokite Месяц назад +1

      The point you seem to miss is that Vigano hasn't proved his accusations.
