    yes. secondary waves can not move through liquids. but I'm not sure about the gases

      hi, i think so, because its produce a "cutting movements" and so cant radiate trought gas

    so surface waves goes only through ground (crust?) . can a single seismic activity produce all the types of waves (which will reach us one after the other p,s,l,r ) ?
    someone pls help me with this

    my book says that secondary waves can go through solid but not liquids or gases
