I just donated 4 bags of good quality clothes and 2 bags of shoes to the women's shelter. It made me feel better about the money I had spent that it went to people who need those items. My rule is if I don't wear it from a previous season to the next same season (fall/winter or spring summer) then it goes. My new rule is spend more money on fewer items of quality if I need to replace them and less/no money on low quality or trendy stuff. I feel you on the sleep shirt thing. I have done that for years and realized that they never actually get worn. Out , out, out! Now that I have redone my closet, I feel lighter and can see the things I really enjoy wearing as well as where my personal taste leans. I thought about the capsule wardrobe, but realized that it is just not for me because one of each item isn't enough, and I do, on occasion, like a few unusual or colorful pieces even if I tend to wear more monochromatic neutral looks daily. I did reduce the number of each item in my closet though. Going forward, I would rather spend money on experiences than a house full of stuff. I like nice things and if really want them or can justify them then fine. However, I spent many years shopping, and I mean in every category (clothes, shoes, household etc) to fill some hole, to pass the time, or to feel accepted, beautiful, or whatever you want to call it. It changed nothing and didn't improve my life one bit. Awareness is the first step 😜👍🏽
Sarah Munoz I only do this w/ items I don't desire or can't reuse (see what I do in above thread)....but it's always a "good thing " to know you are helping someone else....& I do that, too
I am the same as this RUclipsr and your comment Sarah also sounds familiar... I bought a lot of things, because I love clothing and various styles and to feel better, pretty etc. My shopping has got worse, because I go to Stockholm several times a year and they have amazing quality brands for a few bucks at their second hand stores... I really need to stop buying huge amounts of clothing there. Only what I LOVE. Also I need topfet rid of stuff I don’t wear, that doesn’t fit me and that I don’t like... oh and I need extra time to throw out most of my „old-graded-down-to-housewear-pjs“-clothes 😅😂. I have so much clothing I can’t wear everything that I do love even... and yes, the money is spent! Someone else will love them. Long term I want to wear out things I love and replace them with fewer items overall... a long road ahead...
If I piled all of my clothes on my bed it would look like a sea of black and gray lol. I'm in desperate need of more color in my wardrobe but I feel more comfortable in dark neutrals. At least I'm always matching.
Blue Dream I use to be the exact same way! all black,Grey, and browns(just many shades of brown really, lol). I wanted to try more color so I took baby steps. I started with some green, dark forest green. then went to sage green. nothing too bright, just all warm tones or jewel tones. then I tried deep purple and dark maroon and I swear I get so many compliments when I wear colors now, its nice. but baby steps is what I did, and still nothing too crazy, lol
rian nodland That's good advice! I actually wore a forest green shirt today with a beige cardigan and light blue jeans. That's about as colorful as it gets lol. I'm usually wearing at least one thing that's black so I'm happy I tried something different even if it's simple. I do love pastels and jewel tones so I'm trying to slowly incorporate more of them. My usual go to colors are also dark reds/purples lol. Probably because they go so well with all my black and gray clothes :)
Blue Dream exactly! The great thing with black is that its a staple and you can add on from there. My closet still looks pretty dark, but now I even own a bright turquoise shirt, that's a huge step for me.
I decluttered my wardrobe and all I've kept in colour is three shirts for around the house. The rest is all black - no greys or whites or anything else. Although I have a few coloured flannel.
Realizing that the money is already spent really helps me a lot! For clothes that have good memories but I don't wear anymore, I like to cut a square of of it out and write on it was it was (like a dress or something) and what the memory is, I usually keep it in like a journal/scrapbook.
Yeah I have finally broken the habit of not keeping things thinking "I'll wear it around the house." You have to like what you wear even in the house :)
omg the sleep shirt thing, im so there with you!!😜😜😜😜 if it makes it to the pj shelf...its doomed forever. hahaha! thank you so much for doing this! I needed some motivation to clear out my closet. this was just done perfectly thank you sweetheart!
I try to declutter my wardrobe at least once or twice a year and I am planning to this again this January. It always makes me feel so much more relaxed when I get rid of some stuff.
you can recycle your unwearable stained or broken clothes. They turn tshirts into cleaning rags and even rugs and whatever they cant repurpose they turn into fiber fill for stuffing all kinds of things.
elines acevedo exactly! I save a bag up of things that are destined for recycle. so when I get some good quality stuff to give, I mail it to thredup. I put that stuff in a separate bag inside of the mailer and mark it. it's great that they offer the waste management program.
If you haven't thrown the old/stained clothes away, please don't! Too many garments end up in landfills. They can be recycled for carpet padding and other things. If you're taking wearable clothes to a donation center, they usually have a separate spot for recycling. Just something to keep in mind. ❤
Hey Emily! I was going to tell you, if you haven't already thrown out the stuff with holes, etc. you can still donate those items to places like Value Village and they will send them to a textile recycler where they grind up the clothes that are unwearable and turn them into other items (car seat stuffing, industrial rags, etc.). I enjoyed this video! I like to thrift my clothes, but because I get them so cheaply, I end up hoarding...lol.
You made such a good point when you talked about, in your case, "workout shirts". I recently did the Konmari Method to purge my house and so many things fall in this category, "do they bring me joy", "NO", but do I need them yes. Does a bowl in my kitchen bring me joy, no not really but I have to have it. Sorry Mrs. Kondo, life isn't that Black and White. The way I see it, continueing to get rid of things is a great life goal, and helps us to continually self evaluate. Good for you Em, and a job well done. BTW, and an idea to anyone purging their closet, I'm pretty handy with a sewing machine so I have made several T shirt quilts out of shirts (other clothing) items I couldn't bring myself to get rid of but never wore, If you know someone who sews maybe you could enlist them in helping you do the same thing. DM me and I would be happy to give you a quick overview and How-To.
Let me say this was useful and inspiring!!! I think youtube has become a stage for glam life, and opulence in general (when nowadays should be promoted quite the opposite...). It's so pleasant to watch a video which looks closer to what real life is like. I really appreciate your clean and simple style. Less is more! Have a merry Christmas and happy new year Emily 🎄 Greeting :)
Great tips for decluttering! And getting rid of 1/2 of what you have is definitely quite impressive so congratulations!!! In the past year or two I have been trying to be more conscious of the things I buy so now before i purchase something, I ask myself if I would wear it more than 30 times, if the answer is no then its a no-go. Helped me so much with keeping my stuff to a minimum =)
Too many of my clothing items end up the dreaded wear to bed or only around the house, how many do we need? lots apparently lol. I did purge several times this year but I think I need to change how I see my clothing in the closet, for example I have a hard time mix/matching outfits so things tend not to get worn, maybe I need help in curating the looks better. Just incase and what if, that is my life lmao. Thanks for sharing.
I have that problem too, cause I love bright colours and patterns but they really can't go together so I just end up wearing plain stuff in the end usually haha
I am the same... what helped me a bit, was getting a few bottoms in a neutral colour (a black business pant for example) which I can combine with all the patterned tops, blouses and pullovers. And also some silk, neutral coloured tops I love, with which I can wear the many patterned bottoms I have. As I also have a million scarves, I wear all black/colour block outfits regularly as well, so I can use them more. Maybe a mixture is key. I have too many patterns and need more neutrals.
YES! I LOVED this video! I feel like we are in the same place with our wardrobe philosophy right now! I went through mine earlier in the year and cleared it out but still had way too much stuff so I am actually trying out a capsule wardrobe right now (but I do it seasonally so I have more space but still don't have to repurchase things when the seasons change).
I actually just purged my closet today! I basically went through all my items and if there were things I hadn't worn in the last few mo the I got rid of them. if there were things I'd looked at lots of times but decided I really didn't want to wear it. I got rid of those. and anything I was iffy about I ultimately decided to get rid of because I considered getting rid of it, so I might as well. but, I know what I will wear and what I wont. I also went through my bags and shoes, etc. and purged those as well. makes it easier and cleaner and less laundry! I was doing at least 5 loads of laundry a week which is just ridiculous for just my fiancé and i. and majority of the clothes were mine. thanks for this video! it gave me some more pointers and I still have a bit to go through and purge, so I will use those as a guide as well. :)
Right now, I was watching make up decluttering and motivating myself to do it tomorrow(it's 10pm in my country-not best time for decluttering xD) and now I'm watching your video...tomorrow is going to be busy day xD
Oh, and that part of money spending-go to trift shops! I always buy there for so many reasons-its cheap, great quality and I don't feal guilty if I don't wear it too often. 😁
You did a great job!!! I do this constantly!! Especially when the seasons change and I switch out my wardrobe but I also keep a bag in a spare room that add things to often. My issue is that I keep a lot of multiple sizes!!! I can lose weight and gain it pretty easily so I have a hard time parting with things that don't fit at the moment...
I'll be doing a closet purge tomorrow. I do this every year during Christmas break (at least then I have the time for it). I couldn't believe the amount of clothes you had, hahaha! Thanks for the inspiration!
I like this video. YES, I do save sooooooo many shirts "to sleep in" lol!!!! I do try to declutter my closet every season (about 4-6 times a year) I'm a fashion blogger so I get a lot of clothes (and buy a lot) too. Luckily, my friend owns a Designer Resale Boutique.. so, I give her bags of clothing- she sells it- and I get 50% back. So it kind of motivates me to be neater! This year I used a few of those checks to buy everyone Christmas presents! ;) Xx
ahahah j'ai fait pareil la semaine passé. Il me reste 10 pull et 20 t shirt. et j'ai jamais été aussi contente de ma garde de robe. Gros bisous ma petite Emily!
I loved this video idea! I tend to move a lot (well, not as much as you did this year ;)). I'd say, about 2-3 years, but last year I moved 3 times.. what I always say whenever people ask me about moving is - throw half and pack the other half :) This is what I do with cloths, as I move, I look through the stuff and mostly get rid of things I don't wear, don't fit me etc. If it's too small probably get rid of it (I mean one size small not more), if it's too big - goodbye! I don't usually go through ALL my stuff, it's could be an interesting idea. I go through stuff seasonally i guess.. but yeah, I think this week I'll go again through my stuff and see if some things needs to go. I always rent small apartments (I rather spend money on other things ;)) so I don't have too many cloths as it is (not a lot of room for closets...) but still I'm SURE I have some I don't need or like you said, multiples or things I wanted the idea behind but didn't really get that..
I am in the process of doing a clothes declutter. I still have more to do, but don't mind because various charities can make some needy people happy with these items!
I am moving in May so I moved all of my clothes to one half of my closet (Side 1). After I wear something and wash it I'm going to put it on the other half of my closet (Side 2). When I pack up to move, everything that is on Side 1 will be donated/gotten rid of. I live somewhere that will go through a big temperature change (super cold right now to very hot in May) so I feel comfortable that I will be able to really sort through what I wear. Exceptions will be made for things like cocktail dresses.
i need to declutter my wardrobe asap! one closet in my room and a shared room for fancy clothes with my family that is already full with mine lolol your video is absolutely like a reminder for me :3
I try to keep my staples like turtlenecks, t-shits, favorite and most comfortable jeans, oversized sweaters, scarves, belts, etc. I always find myself donating or getting rid of dresses more than any other clothing. lol
I've been super into videos like this, hoping it sparks inspiration to declutter my wardrobe. I usually go trough my closet every now and then but I really should go in depth and not be so sentimental lol
This is just me, (I understand not everyone can do this due to weight loss/gain etc.) but when I go through my clothes, I try on everything that I don't instantly want to get rid of, and if I debate if I want to spend the energy trying it on, it goes! And then I can also see if things still fit me, or if there are any visible holes or stains. Also, my family has what we call "paint clothes" (because we paint or garden so often), and that is one outfit that has stains on it, and when we know we're going to do something which can ruin clothes, we wear those. It helps keep the rest of our clothing neat.
Thanks for sharing your decluttering video with us, you did very well. Recently did the same and ended up keeping only half of my clothes. I still wanna try to sell some of them though and several pairs of shoes as well. Wish me luck 🤞😘
So glad to here someone else doesn't ask "does it spark joy" - I tried to declutter this way and it totally felt like "should my clothes be talking to me!! LOL!! Anyway... Great job!! Totally need to do this!! I have soooo much clothes! Question: what would you recommend or are there any tips for 2-4 season clothes storage?? Do you store off season clothes?? How?? I live in NY and I have all season clothes but am having a hard time trying to reduce and organize . Thanks!!
meh !!!!! :D YESSSSS Sleeping shirts, cleaning shirts....if they are pretty bad, I use them for rags. I laughed at how the clothes were flinging all over! You moved through it all very quickly. GREAT JOB, EMILY!!!!
My only role for decluttering is that if I have to force myself to wear then give it to charity. That's basically it. Well, also if I just haven't worn it in a long time and it had no sentimental value.
I've been wanting to do this forever, but I have to wait till I move out because my dad doesn't understand the concept of "if you don't use it, get rid of it" because he spent the money on it. I'm so overwhelmed with the amount of clothes and bags and stuff I have, I want to purge minimum half the things I own, because in reality all I wear are dresses in the summer and band shirts for the rest of the year. It's so overwhelming!
Oh my, I will need three beds! I have two sizes of most things as I seem to go up a size every winter. I dream about doing this then open the closet and run 😳. I will do it! Sure wish I could move as fast as you did in the video 😂
I always declutter in summer and winter when I rotate my season clothes. My friend told me a rule of thumb if you don't use something within s year you probably never will. Also I only keep clothes I use or clothes I feel beautiful in. So I have a lot of dresses and have lots of color
you are my favorite youtuber ans i watch a lot haha! youre so down to earth and relatable. i also love these kinds of videos. can you do a closet try on?
BeautywithEmilyFox I can be such a hoarder 😂 So I declutter seasonally (Winter and Spring/Summer) and I donate everything that 1) Doesn't fit 2) I don't wear/isn't my style anymore 3) Is old/has holes/etc. I always think if I'm not going to wear it I shouldn't keep it especially because there's probably someone out there who needs it and will enjoy it way more than I will and that makes giving stuff up easier
I have found that having a designated donation box in my home makes me much more likely to purge throughout the year, I also try to have a "one in, one out" rule when it comes to clothing
Similar to yours! If you feel guilty about the money you spent on it, just get rid of it or you will keep feeling guilty. If it doesn't fit, don't keep it and hope you will fit it again one day. If your style has evolved, chuck the things from your old style.
hey em! i go over my clothes twice a year...as i live in Bangladesh...it gets really hot in summer and winter time is okay so...when summer is over then i declutter most worn summer dresses...then after winter i do the same! or sometimes when i just happen to do a bit much shopping i find out comparatively older dresses and donate them....this way my closet doesn't get too cluttered and this way you get to wear all the stuff without overlooking any of them. :)
BeautywithEmilyFox I put my clothes in one spot. Then out of memory I pick out the pieces I know I love and can't live without. Those go straight back into my closet. What I'm left with is what I have to go through. If I hesitate too long about something...it goes. I brought down my wardrobe as well as my sister's to about half of what they were. It's a joy having things you love. I'm about due for a declutter now :)
I work in a clothing store so I try to go through all of my clothes like once a month. Because I buy a lot of new stuff and I just have so much. I know going through it that often seems like a lot and it is but I go through everything frequently so I don't have to do massive purges. I just get rid of a few things here and there frequently.
Can u plse do a Sephora cream lip stain swatches of the new collection...?? I usually have to watch ur review to decide what I want.. plse.. btw I love ur videos❤️❤️
The only thing that forced me to downsize my wardrobe was moving across the country twice in two years. I realize how much crap I bought thinking it was cute, but was not something I would ever wear. For example, buying anything in bright colours because I don't feel comfortable or like myself in those tones. It's easier that way to downsize when I can basically sort by colour and know how often I'll wear it.
After I decluttered my closet I decided to do a rent clothing box so I no longer feel guilty about buying clothes that I only wear a few times. You might want to check out Le Tote but I'm not sure if they ship in Canada.
Did you actually read the book "The magic of tidying" by Mari Kondo? Because it sounds like you haven't, she touches on most of the points you had issues with.
I'm not working on clothes right now. I need to get rid of books I've read, some kitchen things I never use & other things in my spare room like stuffed animals! Lol, yes I still have stuffed animals haha!
Getting rid of basic colored tee shirts!! I always tell myself I need them incase I want to wear one and it's dirty... now I have like 20 black t shirts lol 😂
My closet was so full that the shelves broke and everything fell into a big pile. :D So I had to declutter. For me it's most hard to give up beautiful summer dresses, coats and jackets. I might not like some blazers as much but I know I need them for formal occasions at school, I'm a teacher. So it's the same for me - the search continues for the perfect one. :D
It looks as though you read the very popular book "the life changing magic of tidying up" by marie kondo! I just finished reading it and I;m about to start my cleaning journey....and do it as she suggests category by category and sub category's of the category.....clothes...sub category sweaters, t-shirts etc.... I'm surprised you did not mention her book...you did a great job!!
I'm doing this right now n hardest part for me is actually letting items go. I know I don't need them or will use them. It's been years! Time to let go 😀
I just recently donated a ton of my clothes. I move a lot so some clothes never really make it out of the boxes/bags. I just take those, after going through them, and donate!
I'm still living with my parents and the absolute hardest thing to overcome when I'm decluttering, especially my clothes is my Mom, she's always going back through my "out" stuff and being like "why are you throwing away (no I'm not actually throwing it away I'll give them to relatives or donate them) these perfectly wearable clothes?" and it makes me 10 times more guilty every time. I wish I could also declutter like half of my closet. I haven't bought new clothes for like a year anyway
omg how many hours did that take em?? I'm exhausted watching the fast forwarded version lol. every yr I go through my wardrobe as well but sometimes I give things away that I wish I didn't. do you ever feel that way?
Honestly not as long as I thought, 2-3h! I usually don't miss anything. The only issue I had was that I let my sister try the clothes I didn't want and that made me second guess myself haha
my house is very small (so is my bedroom and closet). It keeps me from having "too much". I practice the "1 in 1 out" method and always have a small box that I put items in for charity which I try to drop off every month..
I just donated 4 bags of good quality clothes and 2 bags of shoes to the women's shelter. It made me feel better about the money I had spent that it went to people who need those items. My rule is if I don't wear it from a previous season to the next same season (fall/winter or spring summer) then it goes. Madeleine Lily omg. THIS! The minute I wear an outdoor clothing piece to bed, I'll forever label it as pjs. 😤😤

Madeleine Lily that's a great idea

This is what Im into - declutter porn!!
This is highly embarrassing ...
wirina holstein it's sooo satisfying!! Lol

I like that you show yourself actually doing the work of decluttering - and it IS work! Thanks for sharing!

Probably the realest declutter video i've ever seen. :) Like, some people are too extreme. Your tips are just right!! Thanks!
Emily, great time of year for us to go through our closets to see how blessed we are and to donate the blessings to others. HAPPY Christmas to you !
When I did my clothes purge I kept reminding myself that I had a washer and dryer and I knew how to use them.
Too many of my clothing items end up the dreaded wear to bed or only around the house, how many do we need? lots apparently lol. Nice background em! Your de lutter videos are my faves to watch❤️❤️💜
Great video. I actually have been clearing out all week. From my car to my room.
thank you for inspiring. i'm going to do some cleaning in my wardrobe now.
I'm in the process of moving, so this is a must for me! I have more space, but just don't need any excess. Starting anew! Thanks for the video!
I did this just last week and got rid of an enormous amount of clothes - it's great!!
Natasa Ma lol! I hate when I do that! Enjoy your declutter sesh!
Yesssss these are the videos I live for!!! So satisfying lol.
Loved this! So good to get rid of stuff!
Hey Em! Could you possibly do a video all about your false lashes recommendations?
You did a great job!!! I do this constantly!! Especially when the seasons change and I switch out my wardrobe but I also keep a bag in a spare room that add things to often. My issue is that I keep a lot of multiple sizes!!! I can lose weight and gain it pretty easily so I have a hard time parting with things that don't fit at the moment...
Great video. I just decluttered my closet a few days ago. 🤗
I'll be doing a closet purge tomorrow. I do this every year during Christmas break (at least then I have the time for it). I couldn't believe the amount of clothes you had, hahaha! Thanks for the inspiration!
Watching you organising your clothes in fast forward was mesmerising.. I thoroughly enjoyed it 😂
I'm doing project 333. It's awesome. I totally recommend it!
You have so many clothes!!! I do the same thing about shirts or sweaters I can wear for bed.
This year I used a few of those checks to buy everyone Christmas presents! ;)
Xx
Love your makeup in the intro: simple cat eye and dark lip.
I definitely need to do this to my closet.
Great video, at the right time. I'm gonna do the same thing very soon . Thanks for the tips!
ahahah j'ai fait pareil la semaine passé. Il me reste 10 pull et 20 t shirt. et j'ai jamais été aussi contente de ma garde de robe. Gros bisous ma petite Emily!
Wow! Great decluttering!
I moved twice in the past 2 days.. Gave me the perfect opportunity to purge off my clothes that I kept in the "someday", "maybe" category !!
I am in the process of doing a clothes declutter. I still have more to do, but don't mind because various charities can make some needy people happy with these items!
do you also have a video about how your closet looks like?
I am moving in May so I moved all of my clothes to one half of my closet (Side 1). After I wear something and wash it I'm going to put it on the other half of my closet (Side 2). When I pack up to move, everything that is on Side 1 will be donated/gotten rid of. I live somewhere that will go through a big temperature change (super cold right now to very hot in May) so I feel comfortable that I will be able to really sort through what I wear.
Exceptions will be made for things like cocktail dresses.
I love your room! And good work with the decluttering as usual :)
i need to declutter my wardrobe asap! one closet in my room and a shared room for fancy clothes with my family that is already full with mine lolol
your video is absolutely like a reminder for me :3
I try to keep my staples like turtlenecks, t-shits, favorite and most comfortable jeans, oversized sweaters, scarves, belts, etc.
I always find myself donating or getting rid of dresses more than any other clothing. lol
Great job Emily! That was very inspiring! Thanks for Sharing that and hope you have a Very Merry Christmas 🎅🎄
oooh December/January should be fun for thrifting! haha
You did pretty well!
We move a lot and I tend to get rid of a lot things then but I’ve never had this many clothes!!
Love these vids for some reason
I read the spark joy book and we decided to try it and I think we ended up getting rid of at least 20 bags of stuff we never used!
Great decluttering session! :)
Maybe you can do it bit by bit... :P
Tara Taillon Make a donation bin! That way your dad will see it's going to a worthy cause and not just the trash
Jenna Guerra Oh trust me, that doesn't work. He gets more attached to my things than I do. I can't wait to get rid of everything!!!
I know the feels. How long til you can move out?
Maybe you can put some things together to donate to a women's shelter and he won't feel so bad with you getting rid of it?
i like you so much. amazing videos. sephora came with new shadesin lip creams. here in greece we don`t have them. i can't wait to see you try them.
Oh my, I will need three beds! I have two sizes of most things as I seem to go up a size every winter. I dream about doing this then open the closet and run 😳. I will do it! Sure wish I could move as fast as you did in the video 😂
I've been waiting for this since you mentioned it on Twitter 😀
I always declutter in summer and winter when I rotate my season clothes. My friend told me a rule of thumb if you don't use something within s year you probably never will. Also I only keep clothes I use or clothes I feel beautiful in. So I have a lot of dresses and have lots of color
OMG your lipstick ♥♥♥
you are my favorite youtuber ans i watch a lot haha! youre so down to earth and relatable. i also love these kinds of videos. can you do a closet try on?
What are your tips to declutter your closet? :)
I'm about due for a declutter now :)
i love to watch these video's! i myself am down to 57 items right now (inlcuding shoes and underwear) and it makes life so much easier
Beautiful bedroom
Yay! New video 😊😊😊😊
I work in a clothing store so I try to go through all of my clothes like once a month. Because I buy a lot of new stuff and I just have so much. I know going through it that often seems like a lot and it is but I go through everything frequently so I don't have to do massive purges. I just get rid of a few things here and there frequently.
Very inspiring. Thank you.
Great idea.
I love your videos! Do you ever declutter your books?
you should try Simons for a black turtleneck. it's 20 bucks. I've had mine for over 3 years and it looks good as new.
Oh my god! You had so many clothes to begin with!! Well done on getting rid of so much :)
After I decluttered my closet I decided to do a rent clothing box so I no longer feel guilty about buying clothes that I only wear a few times. You might want to check out Le Tote but I'm not sure if they ship in Canada.
I'll have to check it out!
Great video!
nice video Em 😆
Perfect video in perfect time
Best way to start the new year :D
Did you actually read the book "The magic of tidying" by Mari Kondo? Because it sounds like you haven't, she touches on most of the points you had issues with.
I did!
At the moment I am going to a period in which i really reduce my clothing. I just keep getting rid of things. Great job getting rid of so many things.
I'm not working on clothes right now. I need to get rid of books I've read, some kitchen things I never use & other things in my spare room like stuffed animals! Lol, yes I still have stuffed animals haha!
I just finished cleaning my closet
I'm exhausted watching the fast forwarded version lol. every yr I go through my wardrobe as well but sometimes I give things away that I wish I didn't. do you ever feel that way?
omg and my car is the worst..
I blame it on my dogs but really I'm just an Uber slob with my car. anyone else???
Honestly not as long as I thought, 2-3h!
I usually don't miss anything. The only issue I had was that I let my sister try the clothes I didn't want and that made me second guess myself haha
ha h ah , that is exactly what marie kondo says NOT to do !
my house is very small (so is my bedroom and closet). It keeps me from having "too much". I practice the "1 in 1 out" method and always have a small box that I put items in for charity which I try to drop off every month..
ohhh that sleepshirt thing... same here
I do the "I'll wear it to sleep" thing A LOT lol
