I'm literally addicted to cleaning out and decluttering! I even have a video about how I used to hoard so bad, but ever since my Declutter journey I feel so much more freedom. Yes, please do an updated "Closet Organization" video. I'd love to see the results after all is said and done.

The "hanger" part was my favorite!! LOL
A cool way to get used to cleaning out your closet: at the beginning of the year, turn all of your hangers around backwards. As you wear your clothes throughout the year, flip the hangers around the other way. Then in December (or a year from when you turned your hangers around) look at which hangers are still backwards, and those are the clothes you know you can donate/sell/throw away. :)

Girl you need to get velvet covered hangers, they keep the clothes on the hanger and they don't leave marks on your sweaters! You can get them in all black and keep your closet aesthetic too. Also, good rules of thumb are the 'have you worn it in the last year' and then create three piles of 'absolute rubbish', 'regifting/selling', and 'donate'. Just a few suggestions!

You should make this a mini series. like next time you tackle the jumpers and sweaters. then maybe after that accessories & bags, etc. This also reminds me I need to do the same to my closet

And if you want your closet to look even more organized looking i recommend you get velvet hangers, theyre pretty affordable especially when theyre on Hautelook or amazon for a big amount. I have hot pink ones and it looks so cute and organized
And they are skinnier. Makes room for more clothes lol
yes and sweaters dont slip off like regular hangers
Theyre a lot thinner too so you have so much more space

Love watching this ! I am so addicted to minimizing my own closet and all of my stuff that I even love watching others throw away stuff (or, putting them away to sell them) :D The funny thing is that it feels so good that you want to keep doing it, so every time I clean up I throw away more and more and I get more strict for myself 'come on, you kept this for one more week, you never touched it, throw it away' I will probably end up with only my two dogs and the clothes I am wearing haha
Top tip for anyone with too many clothes: hang them so the coat hanger is the opposite way to how you normally hang them, and then after you've worn and washed an item hang the right way round. After a while you'll start to see what you're not wearing so you can have a clean out and just keep the stuff you do wear.

I turn my hangers the wrong way and clean out every 6 months
If they haven't been turned the right way from me wearing them they get thrown out and donated
I found this the best way to keep track of what I am wearing during that time
I want to go and clean out my wardrobe now 😂

I am so much like you when it comes to clothing I never would have guessed! Black white and grey are my main colours although I'm trying to branch out slowly, haha! Basic is so important too! Love the simple crisp pieces! You do need to follow this up with a part two, I actually really enjoyed watching this! Much love 💜
My logic : haven't worn a clothing piece in a year, but still keep it because maybe there is going to be this one day I wanna wear it and then I don't have it anymore. What happends is It stays in my closet 2 years longer without wearing it.
