Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea is one of my favorite scents. It is hot & humid for most of the year where I live and we are discouraged from wearing heavier scents at work so it's the perfect choice.

Green Tea has been challenging for me too - Since I like fragrances with a lot of Umph...Green Tea and I have never really jived. Now, I have found some beautiful dark tea fragrances that I quite enjoy like: O' Unknown, Noir 29, Winter Palace and Brocard's my cup of tea collection...This video has inspired me to continue to search for that Green Tea scent that speaks to me..xoxo

I am male and I purchased Matcha Meditation. I am on the fence after wearing it though. It is extremely feminine with that Jasmine. I’m not sure I can pull it off. But, I love the scent.
I was impressed with Matcha Metitation when I smelled it at Sephora recently. It has a lot more depth and richness than what I was expecting from a green tea fragrance.

For years upon years I have tried teas upon teas, trying to become a tea person. but alas it never did take. However I recently splurged on some smith teas, oolong and pu’er tea, and may be, just maybe, starting to convert. I honestly thought smith was just some boujee brand where you;d be paying extra for the marketing. but maybe tea is a product where you do really get what you pay for. Are there any particular teas of excellent quality you’d suggest?

off topic question but I keep wondering why there is such a price difference between e.g. Lataffa vs Fragrance du bois? Does expensive mean better, long lasting? can you explain?

Yay for green tea notes! (And looking forward to your additional videos on other kinds of tea notes 🙌🏼🫖🍵). I really enjoy Elizabeth Arden's White Tea, Atelier Cologne's Philtre Ceylon, and Nishane's Wulong Cha. I need to smell Bvulgari's au The Vert again, as it's been a long time and probably smells much better than I remember! P.S. There is an Australian indie perfume company called "Chasing Scents" that makes perfumes with tea notes. I'm not sure if you've tried them before, but if not, they have a lovely little sample set. Do you or anyone reading this have any recommendations for a nice springtime/fresh green fig scent that won’t break the bank? Something not overly floral. I loved James from By/ Rosie Jane (notes: gardenia, fig, and amber) but it had zero projection or staying power. It smelt fresh, green, softly sweet/warm, and slightly floral. It would’ve been perfect for spring! Ugh. I just want to smell like a lush, green garden! 😩
Alluring fig by Thomas Kalontinis is a beautiful fig scent that would lsyer well I think with Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea.
Do you have any idea if green tea perfumes use real green tea ingredient?
