How did I miss this one?!?! Gosh! I love the dark teas! You are the Tea Sage Kristin...These videos are ridiculously informative! My favorites in the Tea Fragrance universe are O'Unknown, Winter Palace, The Noir 29 and L' Ombre des Merveilles...Since I prefer the bolder fragrances - Black Teas have always appealed more to me BUT because of you I am tip-toeing towards the the Green and White Teas! xox
Floraiku has a beautiful tea collection worth checking out. And definitely the tea vintage collection from Bvlgari is the gold standard.
Their perfumes smell amazing, but they don't last long. For the price, it's just not worth it. If they lasted longer, I'd buy them in a heart beat. The bottles are beautiful.
@@kp4911 I totally agree about the price of Floraiku.
I just blind bought Wulong Cha. I thought I was insane for doing it and was a nervous wreck when it arrived, but it's an amazing scent and I was so relieved that it lived up to my expectations. I bought Demeter's Earl Grey over 20 years ago, when it first came out. A few years ago I repurchased a bottle and it must have been reformulated, as it wasn't as good. I ended up giving it away. The original was spectacular.
@KP Wulong Cha is fantastic, I was A little hesitant, but oh my gosh I’m just in love with it.
When I see a tea note in a fragrance I'm immediately drawn to it. From the ones you showed I own Elephant, She and Wulong Cha. Funny thing about Wulong Cha is that one time I sprayed almost directly in my mouth and I could taste the tea... it was disgusting, funny and delicious at the same time XD
I need to try that Demeter fragrance and, hopefully, Kiki one day.
I am a huge tea person I love oolong and I agree I spend more money on it, my standard bagged tea is PG tips, I love a strong black tea!

i prefer black tea over coffee almost every morning (and at other times of day as well)... and the note in perfumery can be complex, melancholic, and even haunting - IMHO. my favorite two black tea scents would have to be: "The Mountain Still Standing" by Floraiku and "Au The Noir" by Bvlgari. thank you for another very entertaining AND educational presentation.
