It is better to get the undergraduate as affordable as possible, and then be more selective about graduate programs. Nobody cares where someone got their undergrad anymore, might as well do it on the cheap.
I teach and it is hard to recommend any college right now...learning a trade is probably the smartest way to go

@@TheF0urth Depends on the University. Some are collegiate with individual colleges combining to form the university. Two of the most famous are Oxford and Cambridge in the UK. My daughters always referred to their College and not Oxford.

I can't believe Stanford that makes a point of the historical origins of a word decided to exclude the word 'Thug'.
Thug is the English sounding word from the Hindi language that referred to gang of professional thieves and assassins that actually existed.

Listening to that list, some of the replacement words, like the ones for “Stupid” don’t actually mean what the original word means.

This wasn't a project at Stanford to recast the language, it was specifically for it's website and computer code. Exactly what is the relevance of most of these terms to a website at Stanford. Seems to be doubly stupid.
I think employers need to have a stamp made that when a graduate from a university comes in to interview for a job his application is stamped with the word uneducated.

I went to DeVry in the 90’s. I have worked at many small, medium, and large companies at salaries approaching $200k. It’s a good school, and I hate hearing people knock it.
