    Fish dish looks good. You have a very soothing voice that’s nice to hear & follow. No msg though. I’m one of those people who are highly sensitive & affected by msg, also known as yeast extract. Msg compounds my arthritis & aches. This is also coming from someone who has been cooking for decades & have cooked other international dishes. I’ve also took a culinary course. Will substitute msg w/mushroom flavoring though. Been wanting to cook more Sichuan foods. Thx

    the asmr voiceover vibes arent my thing but otherwise nice clear voiceover! a written recipe even without exact measurements would be really helpful ! having to scrub through a video while im mid cooking isnt very convenient lol. looks delicious, will be making soon!

    I have combined different styles including those from Wang Gang and created one of my own. But I like your approach more interesting and suitable when I want things done in a hurry
    Love to see some SIchuan Mala recipes including Mala Jumbo Shrimp sauted with vegetables like bok choy and shitake mushroom. This combination is my favorite and go to when I I craving for shrimp and vegetables
    May I see you approach/recipe for he same?

      Use finely ground chillis. It'll kinda ruin the silky texture, but works like a charm. Good luck!

      Good dried chillies from China is not that spicy :D shop around and try different brands. Good chilly is purely aromatic with little heat and no slow burn

      Yep, sichuan dishes are very heavy salt and oil, but it's not like you drink the Soup ;)

      The way I see it, ingredients taste different from place to place. I've even had issues with the saltiness of different salts :/ I'd experiment a few times and just taste as you go.

      In future videos, I'll try to give approximations for reference, but taste as you go! My Kung Pao Chicken video has measurements, but I never measure when I cook. Vinegars as they evaporate becomes less sour. Salts will change in weight due to humidity. I always get poor results when I measure, so make sure you taste as you go!

    A nice and detailed recipie with full of flavours👌🏽Basa Fish is used the most for asian dishes in India but the fact its banned in most of the big Star Hotels due to a very high Mercury content.
    Basa (Pangasius bocourti), which is largely grown in Mekong delta, is found to be infested with unsafe drugs, many of which are carcinogenic in nature, say reports.

    so delicious! I had a similar dish with beef. The broth was so delicious! But also so oily, part of me wanted to eat it like a soup, but another one said it would have been unwise haha. Is the oil only to finish up the spices? Or maybe the point is to make the broth reusable in the ways you mentioned in the end? BTW what a sexy voice

      you can drape a little bit over rice(maybe 2 spoonfuls for a bowl of rice) if you eat it with rice, just not too much. mix it and it will be great. but do not drink the broth
