- Did you know that there are 67 species of snakes found in Singapore? Probably not, as they are mostly shy and will avoid humans unless threatened. In this video, find out the dos and don'ts when you encounter a snake in urban areas or within your homes.
Raising awareness and understanding of our wildlife and their behaviours is important to help foster positive human-wildlife relationships. This allows the community to safely share spaces with wildlife and enjoy the benefits of living close to nature, as we transform into a City in Nature. From otters to wild boars, we all need to do our part and learn about what we should do when encountering wildlife. Find out more in our new wildlife advisory video series, where we share more about the behaviour of wildlife that you may encounter and the most crucial dos and don'ts!
