    Thanks for the tips! These are some good ones. Remember to take in your carry on bag any and all important documents, passports, id’s and boarding passes etc plus any important medicine and in these modern times your electronics and chargers and laptops. It’s a lot yeah, but you don’t want the cruise terminal to accidentally have an accident and drop your suitcase in the water by the ship and lose your very important items.

    Mostly a Disney cruiser especially as our dgtr was growing up. Service is top notch!! It’s so easy especially if you’re going out of Port Canaveral. Our dgtr is in college now and still has friends she keeps in contact with from the kids clubs. We actually booked a few summer cruises on DCL because “that’s when my friend is going🙏”😂

    LOVE the advice about COMPLETELY emptying your luggage! Its crazy how so many folks get caught up with stuff that is prohibited on the ship OR in another country. Love the cruise tips! 🙂

    Love your videos. I’ve been looking to spend winters somewhere but never thought of cruising for an extended period of time. Because I will be traveling solo this feels like a perfect fit. I will be watching your videos and try to figure out how to do this. I’m aiming for next winter. I’m so excited. Love having all the activities in one place.

      Should I plan for a cruise prior to planning for that extended stay next year. I see that you started all this by earning rewards at their casinos and I would need to do the same. I also need to budget very carefully.

    I have only ever done Disney cruises… They are awesome totally worth the money! Everything is included, except for I think the spa and one of the fancy restaurants. And if you get room service, your soda won’t be included, but you can go up to the top deck and get free flowing soda… I don’t know about alcohol actually, I might be lying to you… Cause I don’t drink alcohol. Don’t know if alcohol is included or not on the Disney cruise. :) but now that the kids are grown… My boyfriend and I want to take our own adult cruise and we’re super Duper excited about the Holland America… Pretty sure that was the ship that you showed us and I loved it!

      In my Madea voice: "as soon as they give me a free or discounted cruise, I'll be there." 😂 I almost booked with them for full price then Princess gave me a free cruise the same week. I'll be on the lookout for deals in NCL. Thanks for that. 😊

    I would also advise new cruisers. Should they fly in the day before or the morning of the cruise?

    It looks like you no longer check your luggage with a porter since you downsized. Can you tell us what the boarding process looks like with a carryon and backpack?

    • @PovertyToParadise
      @PovertyToParadise  11 часов назад

      @rvmush3883 👀 @10:45 & @17:08 is the boarding process. That's it. Cameras not allowed in security but that part is similar to all security screenings. Something specific you want to know?

    Question- Do they stamp your passport entering another country? Stamps are important.

    • @PovertyToParadise
      @PovertyToParadise  2 дня назад

      @rosalindhb No, not automatically when you're on cruises. If you ask, some let you get a stamp at the port [Dominican Republic, Honduras] & some don't [Falmouth Jamaica says you have to be there at least 24 hours]... 🤷🏽‍♀️🤗
