We had a very short window to ride and shoot and publish before the bike was released and in our haste we positioned the lapel mic incorrectly. Peace.

Just picked this bike up, excited to ride it in anger alas it’s going to be a long winter seeing sitting in the garage till the snow leaves. That being said, gorgeous scenery, I am assuming South Africa by your dialect?
Yea. Apologies for that. It was a tight deadline to make the video before the bike was released. We literally had 3 hours to do it and yes - we had an audio issue.

This bike is a bargain - basically an alu epic with a decent shimano slx drivetrain.

just ordered my chisel hard tail in white, can't wait. Had a $2k budget, hope i did good. added some Oozy Reboot pedals too
White is a great choice, it'll really stand out on the trails.

What would be fast rolling tires ?
Many brands make faster rolling XC tyres. They'd be lighter with a lower profile tread pattern.

I believe it's about 28 lbs. Top end fs race bikes are about 24 to 26 lbs., but they cost $6k to $14k.
With some lighter wheels and parts, you’ll be in the very light range and still be well below half the price of a midrange carbon specialized.
