Found Lionel trains in my attic. The playlists of these videos is very helpful.

Another way you could join cars is to pick up one car and drop the car through the couple on the car that you want to hook up. I got to do that with my Santa Fe 1991 Super Chief Set because there's no tab to open on any of the passenger cars or the B Unit.

I believe the FasTrack is the best track there is.
It has a lot of ties per eacch track piece, rocks bwlow it, and I can run it anywhere/
Now if only I had a CW-80 transformer and a newer locomotive.

This is not a bad How To of Lionel toy trains but I find the one from the early 2000's a bit better.
SteamKing2160 nope. I only buy Lionel that was made in the mid 70's or earlier. That's when it was still made right and made in the USA

Anyway speaking of the terminal section I really dont use that track peice anymore since I got wires hooked to the tracks by sodering the wires to the track.

So, from what you're saying is I can buy this new FastTrack and direct connect it to my 1952 transformer. Right?
Tim Patton I have an old transformer probably 1950s. And once I put the wires to the transformer the train still runs. So I would say yes
I broke my crossing when I was trying to install it.

@@colestrains1 for locos are cars info is easier, but sets can be more tricky

Miserable experience trying to put this together. If only it was as easy as the video. The instruction manual was pathetic, it sickens me to think that some innocent tree was cut down to print down millions of useless instruction manuals for this horrendous train set.

I hate the new FasTrack crap.
EighthFlyer789 the old tubular track is better with a variety of types of curves.
Mike's Trains FasTrack has alot of connection problems. Why else does Lionel recommends us to solder wires to one track to another so we don't have to rely on the pins... That means the track is crap we didn't need to do that with good quality track.
