That documentary seriously disturbed me, like 3 hours of getting to the nitty gritty of that life was a lot for me. Emotionally..... it took me to a place where I feel anyone who is not desensitized to that sort of life, would feel the exact same way of just disbelief and heartache. I know nothing of that life but what I see in picture and video form. I am suburban girl all my life and so are my parents and I literally can't relate to anything like this so I was very shocked and heavy hearted. Von was no KING and definitely a killer of non innocent people, so IDK that you can use the term serial. He had that demon spirit on him so heavy with the Devil overlooking the entire situation. Violent Death was always going to be his demise and while he was young. That life was not going to have him seeing his kids grow or getting to see grandpop years. I can't believe this is what so many black boys are born into and then end up making their circumstances a way of life into adulthood. You can only use your childhood for so long as to why you are in the condition you are in. The beauty of being an adult is you have the right to make a change within yourself, for yourself and by your damn self! He did not do that, he choose his side and it rewarded him, (not blessed), which is what the devil does. The devil will reward you while you do his bidding and then come to collect at any given moment. Like you said Gully he HAD TO GO. It was inevitable.
