- We took a trip to Cahills Crossing in the top corner of Kakadu at the entrance to Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. We didn't have the balls (or the permit) to actually make the crossing this time around, but watched the 20 crocs waiting for a feed as others braved the bridge across. We didn't get to see any cars get washed away, but we have heard it happens! Definitely worth a visit, and make sure you get there at high tide.
The kid sitting on the rock gave me anxiety
I'm not sure I would let my son sit on the rock...one slip and he's gone.......
Wow u noticed that
Exactly!
Was thinking that.
Yeah, noticed it too, I would die a thousand times if my boy gets that close to the Nile crocs, here....
Never smile at a crocodile :)
Sorry mate, no matter how croc wise you are, you shouldn’t risk putting your kid/s too close to the edge. Accidents do happen, just take a moment and imagine if he/she slips… you will regret your whole life. Just be extra careful ya
Some parents brains are not fully developed yet
It’s almost like the human and crocs have an understanding of each other. I’m pretty sure if a human accidentally slips in the water, the crocs are willing to give a hand
More like they're willing to eat a hand. There's been plenty of incidents and 100% of that is due to human stupidity.

You’r right ! People are stupid
Exactly my sentiment
Hello from the US. That is a spooky place.. would not want to break down in that crossing. 😂
I have quite a few Australian channels I follow and I am following your now.
You folks have a great day and stay safe.
What are the children doing over there?
Croc biscuits
Cool footage! I love Cahills.
For every one you can’t see there is about 20 more you can’t. Spooky shit. I love crocs and gators!
Idiot lok what you type
They must have loads of human fatalities as most of those people standing on the edge are way to close. Plus it's massive risk crossing when water is flowing over. Crazy place.
Thxs for sharing.
I was born in a NSW hospital with a Koori name and I spent my childhood getting bitten by a whole manner of things, however with scars to this day on my right knee even a larger goanna is a unlikely fatality. Everyone there seems to be judging the crocodile's threat by their previous behaviour ? I'm not a wild life officer but most apex predators could play chess if they had thumbs, & when around them I give a wide berth heh :)
If the little boy falls he's dead eaten alive sad but true the brutal truth
It’s not croc-infested, it’s their home!
Croc Inhabited, not infested :-)
@Wildman Adventures I am from Africa and I noticed the same on the net or social media.
This term 'infestation' is totally wrong! The next course of human action, is 'extermination' after 'infestation'. Rats and cockroaches 'infest' an area or space...these crocs are 'populating' a space, nature intended them to be in.
Thanks for 'clearing' that up! 😁👍
@@benjaminfranklyn9292 agree 100%
@Wildman Adventure Exactly!
@@benjaminfranklyn9292 Well said!
The reason the croc had it arm out so it did not roll over in the moving water
Not infested! It’s their home. Look up the word!
Ive been there. A beautiful place but bloody frightening with all those salties around.
You'd think after all these years, they would expand the bridge to actually rise above the water 😅
Any volunteers to carry out the work?
Any bridge would not last, that part of Australia has massive monsoons during the wet season and the rivers all flood washing away roads and infrustructure.
The local native people don’t want it!
Question...why dont they just build a bridge going over river?
There some very thick poeple to sit by the edge
Family is waiting for someone to slip into the pond
Not croc infested, it’s their home! Human infested more like!
Way too close for comfort for me!
These people ever heard of building a bridge??
Again, it’s a national park and prone to flooding in the wet season. (Monsoonal downpours) They close in down at times. This is tropical Australia and it is also a very remote area.
So think a better way to build a bridge there..no Matter how remote the place there's always a way to make it safer to cross the river.. instead risking your life.
It’s also tropical Australia which is 46 % of Australia and remembering it’s most same size as USA but it’s basically 95% uninhabited
stay in town then
0:42 idiot father puts his son in a dangerous situation. If the son falls into the water. The crocodile will attack him.
