How to Clear Brush for Simple Forest Management Episode 78

As we enter wildfire season it is important to be prepared so I have been continuing my efforts at clearing brush in the bush around the homestead. This short how to clear brush video does make a difference, even if it feels like a miniscule change, but I suppose they add up over time.

What's the purpose of clearing the brush? For aesthetics or safety or... ?

Creates a fire break so that if there is a fire on the ground it cannot as easily go up into the trees. When fire goes up into the trees it spreads more quickly and gets exponentially worse.
