@@bwoodward9564 Mr. Zhao Chuanhui have bee travel to Singapore, Taiwan and Japan many times for teaching Xing Yi Quan before pandemic period.

I know Bagua and Xingyi are often considered "sister styles" anyhow, but a lot of this reminds me of the bagua 8 (trigram) animals. Does anyone know if that was the origin point for development within xingyi (which began with 5 element/fist), or was it the 12 animals from southern shaolin derived styles?

Dude, I love how he puts his entire body into his techniques. I'm guessing, he is about 175 pounds? That's 175 pounds behind every technique. And that's not even counting the mental focus.
More like 155 I guess, Chinese are normally not that big.
It is really not his weight that matters, his power comes from his relaxation, stretching fascia and tendons like rubber bands and release, you can see it in his quick short fist/palm strikes. That energy continues into his opponent and with the relentless forward motion of Xing yi is devastating.
