Hi Chris. Always enjoy seeing a graded reveal and you had a lot of good ones. Love that Vida Blue / Gene Tenace rookie. Thanks for sharing pal. Talk soon my friend.
Love this project Chris! The Swaboda catch really was an amazing catch. I think Bill Freehan deserves Hall consideration. He was the best catcher in the American League for close to a decade.
Proposed Title: Often forgotten stars of the past. Another collection scope to consider is members of your Royals Hall of Fame. I am a Cardinals fan that collects the first Cardinals Topps card or a playing days card of Cardinals in our Hall of Fame. It’s really cool to learn more about the team’s history. Sure there are the obvious Hornsby, Musial, Gibson, Smith, etc, but via my collection I was able to learn more about Lanier, Moore, Brecheen, etc. the bonus is the collection grows each year. You have the obvious Brett, the little known Mayberry, and the future Perez. I bet you’d learn more about your team while collecting cards like I have.
Gave a video like. I just picked up the Otis and the Nettles about 6 weeks ago from GregMorrisCards. Sounds like a really fun project to put together, Chris. I would call that set a Frankenset. Because you can add to it when you like and remove players when they get elected into the HOF. Hope you have a great Sunday, Chris.
Dang there are a lot of "Hall of Very Good" players there. I really like Al Oliver, and I wish that I would hear other people acknowledge how good he was (I don't hear anybody talk about him until you just did).
Good stuff Chris, this will be a very cool side project to watch. I have a few "best of the rest" type of guys I collect RCs of in BB, HK, BK and FB. Some guys I keep I hope will make the Hall, and a few have no shot. Ever consider Marty Marion?
I think Jerry Koosman deserves a look into the “Induct Who You Like” hall of fame. I bet you have his RC already? Hahah Also Keith Hernandez belongs, in my opinion.
First thing that came to mind for your set would be "Forgotten Stars" or something like that. Easy for very solid players who don't quite make HOF status to get forgotten several decades after they retire.
Sounds like a "Best of the Rest" collection.
Since someone took close but no cigar I’m going with the “ halfway hall” collection. Great group of cards. Thanks for sharing.

Love em all Chris. Maybe call it the "Juuuust a bit outside" collection.
You should call it close but no cigar

Great cards Chris. I can't wait to see what you do with this project.
Awesome cards Chris! Whether they make it in the hall or not, they are some great players. Thanks for sharing your project.
Awesome cards, Chris! We're in agreement about Lou Whitaker for sure! Great video my friend!
No Mike scotia what a catcher
Dick Allen needs to be part of the collection, obviously. I would advocate for Curt Flood as well for contributions to the game.
Great project Chris! It’s fun to see the cards of these players. They are cards you don’t see too often!
Awesome cards Chris. Completed my Elston Howard run last year!! Great player overshadowed by elites on his team.
Chris’s “Hall of the Very Good”

Dick Allen belongs in the Hall of Fame
Dude, I love this! Great project idea. Bobby Grich is on my list to pursue as an Angels fan. He’s in the team HOF for both Orioles and Angels!
Best players not in the Hall. I love cards of players in the Hall of Very Good. Great cards. Thx for sharing.
Players on the Doorstep to the Hall of Fame.
You should do a play on your catch phrases: “Hello and welcome to Chris From Missouri’s “Induct Who you Like” Hall of Fame!
How about "outside the box" or "on deck" set... love the videos... hope you are doing great! Sorry im i bit late to the party. Lol.

Very nice cards and list. Blue and Whitaker 100% should be in the HOF. 3 others I think that belong Steve Garvey Luis Tiant and Thurman Munson
Great cards! Sounds like a fun project. Sounds like a “Horseshoes and Hand grenades squad” because that’s the only place close counts.😊

Nice Fred Lynn rookie!

Good stuff! But I'd put Dave Parker at the very top of this list.
How about The Hall of Avery Good or The Hall of Excellence?
Title idea: Halfway There
(Inspired by Bon Jovi 😁)
Hall of Chris’s Very Good
I think I finally completed my Top 5 lists 😂
The Meyhem Collection!!! Or Project Meyhem!!!!
No Mike soctia what a catcher
Fernando Valenzuela Dave Parker Roger Maris Vada Pinson Thurman Munson to name a few
What about boog Powell
Hall Hopefuls
You've got to put your name on it like Mike Payne or Joe Posnanski... so how about Chris from Missouri's Forgotten Heroes series.
Maybe the ode so close list
So close,yet so far away
Foster RBI machine
“Fringe Famers”
