At some point I would like to, but that depends on if I can get my hands on one. I'm working on making new PCBs for CD&Fs (including tone filters) which could be useful to other collectors. I have gotten word that the board connectors on the CD&F do fit the Federal Signal SC controller, so I want to make a variant of the tone filter for those.
They are in the boxes attached to the upper and lower intakes. Check out the printables page, there are better pictures there. Just some cheap common 12v solenoids.
I feel its worth mentioning that I helped with modeling this as well. Amazing print quality btw!

Dang this is really impressive. The timing in the Hi-Lo. Is perfect, and the mechanisms sounds to be in perfect order!
The timing of Hi-Lo is something I was always picky about. I took some time to carefully adjust the flasher to sound perfect to me 😅
I would love to see a indepth video about your control panels

Cool! And speaking of reverse-engineering the CD&F will you be reverse-engineering a Federal Signal SiraTrol (Radio and Decoder) at some point?
