R.I.P. David!! The Partridge Family was one of my favorite shows when I was growing up. The bus was the coolest thing at the time! Just a few tidbits of useless information: Susan Dey, who played Keith Partridge's sister, Laurie, had a real life crush on David, but he wasn't interested in her during the show's run from 1970-1974. They did have a brief relationship afterwards, but it was sexual for him, and emotional for her.
I bought the dvd when it first came out because of David's appearance but am impressed by the high definition quality of this youtube upload. Any chance of the show being made available on bluray in the future perhaps with some extra footage of David if it exists?
Happy melody brings a smile that spreads from heart to the face.
Cassidy.. like no other
Rip David you were one of a kind .
70s...you had to be there!
Absolutely magical. The excitement is so palpable I kind of felt like I was in the audience!

Don't you wish more people would sing along to this theme song? I did: both this and When We're Singing!
