I raced this truck on a big outdoor track hundreds of times. I broke both bumpers. One A arm. Rear shocks. Stripped the spur gear a few times. And went through some bearings. Other than that, it was rock solid. And it took such a beating just to break those parts. Now I have upgraded electronics. Basically, all the stock replacement parts . And somehow still running the same front shocks that have been rebuilt a few times.
I got this when it first came out a few years ago. It was $319. Best most rugged short course truck I ever had. Still have it today with a new body. But I painted the same colors best I could.
I loved mine stock threw a max 10 in it and a killer servo loved it even more bought factory shock great then I went to the factory driveshafts and I can’t keep it together now . Fronts keeping coming apart .
@@chrisvda7277 3300 if I remember correctly though I bought both the 3000kv motor and the2000kv motor . They both work great , no heat issues and crazy quick . Like I said my only bitch is that I went to factory driveshafts and I wish they had a metal pinion gear .
I've had pretty good luck club racing this truck. The weak point is the axles, especially the Team Associated Steel CVD, don't buy them, they are complete junk. Instead use Traxxas 6854A or 6853A.
Lengthen and move the rear camber link to the outer hole on the bearing carrier. 15/15/7 diff oils, and do the C block mod or Tekno pills to add anti-squat. Completely different truck
@@SH-ry2xi idk if id say race setup BUT it did change the handling of the truck for the better. Gave it a steadier more predictable feel. Didnt squat and nose dive as much as box stock. Give a try, its all reversible👍🏽
I didn't have any complaints about this truck, but jumping on your average cheap ramp would cause the bulging pumpkins to scrape and catch the jump surface. The smooth-bottomed vehicles just don't have that issue. Still worth the money as a race capable basher, in my eyes. But doesn't like cheap, hard-transitioning skateboard ramps.
I have a clicking noise under acceleration is this normal. Literally ran with the noise out the box. First time I ever pulled trigger. My MT10 also made the same noise after a while and never got to the bottom of it even after checking all diffs lol
Short Course trucks are my favorite go fast class by far. They just look great when they are running on a track.

Truck looks good. With short course trucks fun is guaranteed.

Love this truck.
Track is massive 💯🤸♀️⛽️
I recently purchased one of these in Australia. Bloody love it. Just need to find somewhere to race it now
Perfect for BMX tracks. Swap out the tyres and run it on 2s
With upgraded tires and the team associated upgraded aluminum shocks this truck is great. It’s my favorite short course truck.

How would you compare this to a slash ultimate?
These are awesome / highly underrated . Get a Louise tyre and wheel combo and your good to go. 2S is more than enough power
i run mine on an indoor clay track on 2s cnhl 120c with a 10bl120 and a 3656 sensored HW 4000kv, bad ass.

@YEYYYEY That diff setup is close to what Tekno recommends for the sct410 2.0 . May have to try that in my mt10 and sc10
@@chrisvda7277 i think thats why i changed the oils. The AE stock oils were too aggressive and seemed more basher oriented
@@YEYYYEYis this a racing oriented setup?

That truck would be a winner if it was 1/8 scale.
Short course trucks are 1/8.
@@guest6423 no most are 1/10th
It's worth every penny. All it could use is a set of tires for the track. Otherwise send it
The only complaint I heard from my friends is about the stock tires, otherwise its golden.
I wonder if the stock tires are there to protect the rtr status?

Yup tires are no good for track
high sg ... cant keep up with race trucks
I’ve only ever owned Arrma. Pro4 vs Mojave 4s. What do you think?
I have a pro4 and my buddy has a mojove 4s. It's like apples and oranges. I love them both but they couldn't be any more different.

Too pricey.
What do you expect for a 4wd 3s truck?
Looks like a 4x4 slash, I like both trucks but it looks copied
Slash copied the Senton
Everything copied the Slash to be honest. The Slash is the original short course truck.
