    Thanks for the videos. I bought the 120 and am waiting for it to be delivered now. Hopefully next weekend I’ll be out on the water. I did get the rudder as well. Thanks for responding to questions. I really appreciate it.

      Steve Gramlick you're very welcome. Glad I could help, when I got mine there was about 4 videos total on a big fish since they were pretty new to the market So I figured I'd help people out.

      Brandon Crow there still don’t seem to be too many videos out there. The only ones that exist seem to be overview videos of where all the screw hole are. So thanks for making a video of someone actually using it and pointing out your experiences.

    Awesome update video man! Just got my urban camo 105 today and cant wait to get it on the water this weekend. Your videos have given me ideas of modifications to do on mine and I've only had it a few hours. Would love to see some videos of you in action catching some big ones on your nice rig.

    My bank account is not liking the looks of these videos lol I'm glad I found this because I have a kayak and I hate paddling it and kayaks that are pre ready for trolling motors are out of my budget. This boat is checking allot of things off my list for what I want.

    That's badass bro!! I have the same kayak except mines the green camo. Did you take the top off of the trolling motor to stick it through the box? I just picked up the same exact trolling motor with a battery box and the battery so I'm going to be doing this modification just wondering how you got it through the box... great video keep it up bro

    What rod holder do you hav mounted to the track?

  • @Jpgundarun
    @Jpgundarun 2 года назад

    Ive got a Big Fish 120. Im thinking of putting the trolling motor down through the sonar pod hole but not through the sonar pod box. I will just make a bracket and have the sonar pod stored up front or leave it in the car if Im using the motor. That way when I need to retract the motor I can simply put my hand down the slot and align the prop so it doesn't catch on the hull. If I just want to go for a paddle I will use the pod as originally intended.

    Curious about how you deal with getting it out in the water if choked with weeds. Did you try a rear mount?

    • @ttoohot4yoazz
      @ttoohot4yoazz  5 лет назад

      Rick Hay I've got to where I can turn throttle on and off quick to get the prop straight up and I can take the console out in the water.ive done it several times checking on my transducer. I have a weed prop now on so I don't get weeds on my prop much.

  • @bradleyrussell1973

    The tm would be more efficient in the back. In the compartment position, it has to pull perpendicularly to the tunnels of the hull when turning. Why not just buy a 100 transom mount minn Kota and mount it in place of the rudder? Very easy to swap it for the rudder when you are going out with the family and not using it. That 105 if the best yak made. Nice!

    If you setup your power controls on a PWM you could creep at any speed you want and just use foot controlls only vause youd be taking the head off

    hey, i want to get the same set up as you with the trolling motor, how do you run your wires on the 105 and where/what is your battery set up

    • @ttoohot4yoazz
      @ttoohot4yoazz  5 лет назад

      Will Hughes I run them to the back to a crate where the battery is located. And I run my wrire under the deck plate and use a plug for easy disassembly you can kind of see from the video.

    I'm getting a 120 very soon. I want to add a troller. What fp do you use? could it be rigged to drop in and out, as to permanently through the sonar pod? I love lake guntersville. I have a lot of fond memories of the rock face behind the campground below Hustlesville rd. I grew up in Albertville. Class of 00.

    • @ttoohot4yoazz
      @ttoohot4yoazz  6 лет назад

      Snoopy Evans nice I live about 5 mins from town creek near hustleville rd. But not sure what you mean by mounting the trolling motor permanently which way.? And it's a 30lb thrust

    • @snoopyevans8315
      @snoopyevans8315 6 лет назад

      As opposed to drilling through the sonar pod, mounting across the front like those on a john boat/ bass boat. Could it be done?

    • @snoopyevans8315
      @snoopyevans8315 6 лет назад

      *with foot control.....

    • @ttoohot4yoazz
      @ttoohot4yoazz  6 лет назад

      I'd amagine you'd probably run a bar across and mount the motor. But honestly I have no idea on that. But if you do it the way I did. And are worried about drilling your console they sell replacements for 60 bucks I believe. So you could always have a good one and one that has a trolling motor through it.

    • @ttoohot4yoazz
      @ttoohot4yoazz  6 лет назад

      I've never seen one up front but if your good with fabrication about anything is possible.. But honestly I don't think you'd get any better performance in my opinion.. good luck and if you do definitely let me know if love to check it out.

    Hi, I have been looking at the big fish 105 for a few weeks now. But am thinking about getting the 120 now. I will have to check the kayak on top of my Jeep Wrangler. How easy is that thing to lift? And how do you feel on the 10 vs 12 size.

    • @ttoohot4yoazz
      @ttoohot4yoazz  5 лет назад

      Vince Gagliardi I use a trailer because it sucks to be honest. But it's possible for sure. But once you start putting a rudder or motor on it. It's alot harder to put on a roof. Since you don't have much room to grab on the back.

    Buyer beware: The track mounts are designed to not fit rod holders from any other company. You will be required to buy (make) an adapter for all of your accessories. Also every location of the tracks will interfere with your paddling and the rod your fishing currently if an accessory is mounted. But you will be charged for them eventhough 3waters is well aware that they will be of no use without a peddledrive. 👎👎Also 3waters doesnt even sell rod holders but they make you buy an adapter to put any other companys accessory on your boat
