Bula! This is a review of Fiji Airways economy class cabin + seat on their new Airbus A350 from Los Angeles, California to Nadi, Fiji. This is one of only two A350s in their fleet. Come with me to experience the food, cabin crew, in-flight entertainment, Fiji water, pillow, blanket and more aboard this 11 hour flight across the Pacific. I will also show you what it is like on the ground in LAX during this time when so much of the world is still off limits for international travel.

I work at Nadi Airport and this is truly one of the finest reviews of the LAX - NAN route I’ve seen on RUclips. Every morning around 5am we get to see this flight land on our shores. Video is short, concise and great camerawork. Keep up the good work

I was also very impressed with Fiji Airways' service. In a few weeks, I'm heading again to Brisbane and decided to take the same flight because of how comfortable it is.
Glad I found your video to show me what I’ll be experiencing on July 21 on flt 811, continuing to SYD on flt 911, also an A350. Now I’ll be sure to get in line early to check in. I return to LAX on a Qantas 787-9. It will be interesting to compare as I’ve never flown either. Thanks!

Agreed with your review . They quit using the cardboard food boxes and the food was nothing to write home about but the service is great.
Hi Jaychel! Thanks for this awesome video, very helpful! I’m planning on booking a vacation package to Fiji in May, we’d be flying your exact flight, from LAX to NAN at 11.55pm. Ive been having some issues trying to get in contact with customer service who haven’t replied to my multiple emails for info. I read some bad reviews about the airline and was starting to get worried so I found your video and it helped. I’m still on the fence, and don’t know what to do. In your opinion, is it worth taking the plunge and booking with them?
Hi Cristy! Overall we had a really good experience with Fiji Airways and we really loved Fiji. With the good deals going on right now we would highly recommend taking the trip over there :) It was our favorite tropical vacation we have ever taken.
While the actual flight experience was really pleasant, the scheduling and customer service was as you mentioned a little challenging. We were initially supposed to fly out of San Francisco, but that flight got canceled and so we had to re book to LA which involved waiting on hold for quite some time. We weren't really told why it was cancelled, but we suspect it was because there was not enough demand for a Thursday flight out of SFO. In the end everything worked out great though.
In my opinion since you are going over the more typical tourist season you shouldn't have any problems. We know quite a few people that have gone with the deals on the Fiji Airways website and have had a great experience :)

Oh great question! From my memory - yes! I think we had full recline
Did the airlines weigh your carry on bags? Did you also take a personal item?
Hi Jenny! They did not weigh our carry on for this International flight, but did when we flew on the smaller planes within Fiji. We also brought a personal item which we put under the seat in front of us! 🙂
I have watched all the videos in the Fijian series. videos were best. i am from Bangladesh. i suggest you for travel Bangladesh. maybe, you are from America. you know. Bangladesh are very love American. you told in video. you was travelling LA to Fiji. please, visit our Bangladesh. you will enjoy our country. also, we bengali are very friendly. a lot love for Americans from Bangladesh❤❤❤

Guys is it really safe to fly via FIJI airways from LAX to Melbourne Austrailia?It has a layover in Nadi and then to Melbourne.I don’t know much about the airline just wanted to make sure that it’s safe.Can someone plz help me and guide me.Where can I book the flight from?Thank you

Thanks for the details I needed. I’m planning for my 50th birthday in October and Fiji Airways keeps “calling my name”… I saw a video of their business class and my knees do not like to be in the same position for too long without pain!!! 😖😖😖 I’m still working out which supplements that works best for me…

Hey Steve!! We were worried about that as well. We didn’t run into any issues with either Fiji flight! They didn’t weigh our carry on and they fit normal sized carry ons in the overhead bins! The smaller propeller plan was a little different though
