nice presentation. Also great feature is that point color exists in masking too so we can make local adjustments. Solo mode in panels and in masking is a great new feature to spare lot of time scrolling panels.
Hi Jim, Point Color is a really powerful and helpful tool. The best thing about it is that it makes it possible for the first time to edit colors directly in the masking tools of Lightroom and Camera RAW. Knowing you, I'm sure you'll make a video about this soon 🙂
@@JimNix Just that the interventions with sliders are softer and more delicate!! maybe that's my impression Looking forward to seeing your next videos Thank you
Jim, I really like this feature and appreciate the demonstration. Unfortunately, I don’t have LR as my subscriptions are with LN and ON1. I can probably do something similar with those apps, but there’s no way the interfaces they use are as simple as this LR feature. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks for watching and at this time, you can't do this level of color control in Neo or On1, but of course that may change. But still those products have amazing color tools that I love to use as well.

thanks Marc and yes the ability to mask with Point Color is huge for sure!
I'm learning Lightroom Classic and really enjoyed this video. Can't wait to try out point color.
thanks for watching and have fun with it, it's amazing!
Thanks, Jim. I was wondering how to target the Fall Colors and you helped once again to see what I can do to improve my photos.
thank you for watching and glad this helps!
A brilliant tutorial. Thanks a lot!
thanks for watching, glad you liked it!
Point color looks like a useful tool. Thanks for the tutorial.
thanks for watching Ron!

Thanks Andreas and yes that is a huge benefit. I may explore that in a video but haven't planned it out yet. Thanks for watching!
Brilliant!
haha yeah it's a great feature for sure!
Hello Jim,
I think Adobe has Knocked it out the park with this update … nice demonstration Jim 👍
thank you Martin and yes they did, it's a great update!
Thanks Great demo Jim it seems to me that the same thing maybe a little softer in camera RAW What do you think?
Thank you but what do you mean by softer in Camera Raw? I rarely use CR since I favor LR. Thanks.

Is this similar to the Direct Color Editor in Capture One?
Good question Jay but I have no idea since I have never used Capture One. I'm just not familiar with it.
Wow
Point Color is definitely a "wow" kind of tool
Back to HDR tone mapping...
Not sure I follow the comment, can you clarify? Thanks.
