Samsung M31 Camera യുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ഒരു സംഭവം തന്നെയായിരുന്നു. അതിലെ Pro- mode ഒരു DSLR ൽ കിട്ടുന്ന പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാ Controls ഉം (aperture ഒഴികെ ) കിട്ടുമായിരുന്നു. Even ......sky Photography പോലും ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റുന്നവിധം ...... Exposure time, Contrast control ചെയ്ത് Nebula വരെ detect ചെയ്ത് നല്ല Pic എടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട് ഞാൻ. വീഡിയോ അതിഗംഭീരം ...... Low lights ൽ പോലും ഒന്നാന്തരം ക്വാളിറ്റി. പക്ഷേ 3 ആഴ്ച മുമ്പ് ഒരു സുപ്രഭാതത്തിൽ ചറപറാന്ന് restart ആകാൻ തുടങ്ങി. boot ആകില്ല..... തുടങ്ങി നൂറുകൂട്ടം പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ. അതോടെ അത് ഉപേക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു. ഒരു പക്ഷേ Samsung ന് പറ്റിയ mistake ആയിരിക്കണം അത്രയും features ആ വിലയ്ക്ക് ഉൾക്കൊള്ളിച്ചത്.
@@devasurya1394 yes. Orion nebula. I took pictures with and without telescope using M31. Without telescope I used ISO 6400, 10s exposure, and adjusted contrast by trial and error. Adjustment of contrast was the key and tricky step. Used full digital zoom to minimise field of view. Because of 10 S exposure I had to use the equatorial mount and track the ecliptic movement. Obviously it is nowhere comparable to the pictures that you see on internet. You will know there is something other than just a few stars there. We can see the orange, red shades of the nebula quite distinct. If you are interested in mobile phone photography i suggest you take an M31. Even videos taken in low light are amazingly super.
u used equatorial mount..thats the reason.. almost all phones in midrange segment give almost same output when shooting astrophotography. i tries omnivision , samsung and sony sensors both are same in this case.(i mean in RAW files)
@@devasurya1394 10 sec exposure needs equatorial mount. And 10 Sec was the max exposure available in M31. I have not seen that much max limit in similar range phones. Also contrast control is very important .... else bluish background ൽ പൂത്തിരി കത്തിച്ച പോലെ image കിട്ടും. I verified a few phones of similar range from a couple of years ago. They didn't have this level of controls. But unfortunately my M31 crashed last month. I had to buy a new one urgently...so just by looking at camera specs i took M32.... Main lense and sensor are good... But not even 25% of the controls what was available in the M31. They have downgraded it. So are most of the similar ones.
DxoMark is the last word of camera. If you logically consider elo rating, in my view pixel 7 pro is the best phone except for video quality. Again these things are more subjective than objective. Pixel 7 series experience is heavenly.

Samsung M31 Camera യുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ഒരു സംഭവം തന്നെയായിരുന്നു. അതിലെ Pro- mode ഒരു DSLR ൽ കിട്ടുന്ന പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാ Controls ഉം (aperture ഒഴികെ ) കിട്ടുമായിരുന്നു. Even ......sky Photography പോലും ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റുന്നവിധം ...... Exposure time, Contrast control ചെയ്ത് Nebula വരെ detect ചെയ്ത് നല്ല Pic എടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട് ഞാൻ. വീഡിയോ അതിഗംഭീരം ...... Low lights ൽ പോലും ഒന്നാന്തരം ക്വാളിറ്റി. പക്ഷേ 3 ആഴ്ച മുമ്പ് ഒരു സുപ്രഭാതത്തിൽ ചറപറാന്ന് restart ആകാൻ തുടങ്ങി. boot ആകില്ല..... തുടങ്ങി നൂറുകൂട്ടം പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ. അതോടെ അത് ഉപേക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു. ഒരു പക്ഷേ Samsung ന് പറ്റിയ mistake ആയിരിക്കണം അത്രയും features ആ വിലയ്ക്ക് ഉൾക്കൊള്ളിച്ചത്.

@@devasurya1394 yes. Orion nebula. I took pictures with and without telescope using M31.
Without telescope I used ISO 6400, 10s exposure, and adjusted contrast by trial and error. Adjustment of contrast was the key and tricky step. Used full digital zoom to minimise field of view. Because of 10 S exposure I had to use the equatorial mount and track the ecliptic movement.
Obviously it is nowhere comparable to the pictures that you see on internet. You will know there is something other than just a few stars there. We can see the orange, red shades of the nebula quite distinct.
If you are interested in mobile phone photography i suggest you take an M31. Even videos taken in low light are amazingly super.
u used equatorial mount..thats the reason.. almost all phones in midrange segment give almost same output when shooting astrophotography. i tries omnivision , samsung and sony sensors both are same in this case.(i mean in RAW files)
@@devasurya1394 10 sec exposure needs equatorial mount. And 10 Sec was the max exposure available in M31. I have not seen that much max limit in similar range phones. Also contrast control is very important .... else bluish background ൽ പൂത്തിരി കത്തിച്ച പോലെ image കിട്ടും. I verified a few phones of similar range from a couple of years ago. They didn't have this level of controls. But unfortunately my M31 crashed last month. I had to buy a new one urgently...so just by looking at camera specs i took M32.... Main lense and sensor are good... But not even 25% of the controls what was available in the M31. They have downgraded it. So are most of the similar ones.
