- Here are my initial thoughts on this tire. At the next review interval, I'll talk more about tread wear and off road performance. Stay tuned! #Yokohama #JeepGladiator #MudTires
True master of all tires, good and predictable on road but brilliant off road under any kind of conditions. Easiest to balance MT I have owned with low noise and wear.
I had about 30,000 miles on my Yokohama GeoLanders. They had incredible right quality and were super aggressive on the trails. Highly recommend them. They do not make 38 inch tires otherwise I would run them on my gladiator.
Did they only last 30,000 miles?
@@d-cm1446 lol right … good question
@@d-cm1446 it's funny buying different brand tires i kinda wish all tires only last 30k lol actually, less. That way i can buy try a new different set more often
@@kozmicflush980LOL true! 😅
Sipes really do make a huge difference. I’ve a tire groover iron I’ve used to sipe cleats/blocks on bias super swamper SSX tires, took forever, but it’s made a huge difference even on dry rocks to grip.
35x11.50r20 Yokohama geolander g003 came with the ram 1500 truck I bought
Nice review. I have a 2 inch lift, same wheels on my gladiator. What is your psi set to?
Thinking about driving my new car to Bowling Green to explore and celebrate it's history!
Thanks for the insight.... Helps greatly
You had me sold on these I have the milestars on my ram been amazing, but not so much in rain. I have purchased the geolanders will be putting them on the 22nd, hoping they do decent in the winter ❄️
How do you like the G003s? Thinking of putting these on my Ram 2500
My falken my a quite and great , my Goodyear fierce mt are horrible sound and ride. Good content keep up the good work thx
Its not the pebbles that are trapped in the track that is doing the harm. Its the sharp stones that are flipped up by the front wheel that punctures the rear wheel; at least here in South Afrika.
Awesome love your videos
My 37x12.5x17 geolander mts are super quiet. About 4k MI's.
it's interesting, I think that it's the size of the gravel on your drive as I have the same problem with all types of tyre's on my drive I've got 8mm crush stone and it doesn't matter if I've got fallen wildpeak AT or Yokohama X at or BFG km3 or ko2 they'll all grab stones , I found it interesting about the noise levels of the yoko mt , my wildpeaks are a little more noisy then my x at that are whisper quiet but both are quiet compared to the km3 I had . now that you have had both Yokohama and falken do you think that Mt is a better choice or to early days to say
Thanks for the review. I just heard about that specific tire today. I currently use Toyo Open Country MT 35x12.5 LT R20. They are quiet etc…. I like everything about them except for the price. Lol. What do you think about your tires now since last year when you posted this video? Thanks.
How's the tires performing for you?
Thanks for sharing
Are those full depth siping? I heard they were not.
Noticed you don't have a fifth wheel same spare tire. Looks like original spare. Will you get a matching spare?
Who the F really cares about that spare tire these days? Besides the jeep junkies
Curious what other mts and at's you think we're quieter?
He only mentioned one which was the Milestar Patagonia mt
Looking to purchase the geolanders 315x70x18. Can anyone tell me their specific pros and cons regarding longevity, noise, wearability and so on..
ive had the geolandars for a few years now. just bought a second set because they are that good. they arent loud on the road, and they are magnificent in the mud. they are savage in the shit, never had to replace em from damage and i beat the shit out of them on rocks mostly. in my humble opinion they are the best tire for mud and whatever else you can throw at em. they are bulletproof and ive beaten them to death. sidewalls are ironclad. im saying that as an Arizona boy with plenty of rocks and cacti
Next set of tires, Cooper Evolution MTs! Because those and the tires you are reviewing right now are the two I'm debating between. (Leaning towards the Coopers since they have full depth syping and they're significantly lighter) 😆
I'm also considering both. Which did you go with?
@@seth_owens I have yet to buy either because my current tires still have half their life left. I'm thinking way into the future. I will probably go with the Coopers.
@@jessesimpson777 thanks for the response! I'm kinda thinking the same. That or dick cepek trail country (which are manufactured by cooper)
@@seth_owens the trail country exp's have been great for me on my Tacoma! Have 15k+ miles on them now. They have been in the mountains, moderate off road trails, heavy rain, panic stops and haven't slipped or broke traction. They have been great for me!
Can you tell how deep the siping is? I've been disappointed with Goodyear Duratracs because the siping is so shallow, and once it's gone they lose their bite on ice and packed snow.
I seen another review that said they are not full depth siping.
According to Yokohama the sipes are 80% depth of the tread blocks.
Скажите, как они зимой?
Are these quieter than KM3s?
In my experience, they are quieter. Definitely.
Why is your fuel filler on the right side???
Oh, my bad. Didn't realize your vid was reversed... LOL
I only buy American made tires and cars... NO Mexican made cars....
Where was the device made you wrote this bold statement on?
😁 great question
There’s a reason why the Toyota 4Runner is so dependable. It’s still 100% made in Japan.
@@jdm8577exactly. It's got pride in it . Something America lacks
Chevy has all their wiring made in Mexico. Some Chevy vehicles are assembled in Canada. Ford and Chrysler also have many parts made in other countries. Harley Davidson is mostly made in China parts. About the only thing made in the US on a Harley is the chassis and engine. Those “American made” cars you buy are mostly made of parts from other countries. Japan has many factories here that employ American workers.
