This actually made me remember a dress that I owned in 1969, when I was 11 years old, that was a bright lime green with purple accents, pockets and front zipper with a purple and green flower zip. I hadn't thought about that dress in years. It was one my favorites.

Love the lily pad dress! I do think making the pads out of that 60s fav-Naugahyde or ‘rich corinthean leather’ or shiny, plasticky fabric will suit the chi nicely better (and fit the mod theme). And stop picking at your sewing abilities-no body looked awesome in mod wear except little boys and Twiggy. Nice repro!
