@Site-88 what exactly made you think it is based on chernobyl?? So what? ONLY chernobyl's reactors are capable of melting down? and the rest of the world's nuclear power plants (given the circumstances of a meltdown) can't? As i said, The elephant's foot is exclusive only to chernobyl. Forgot to mention, so what does that mean that the corium at fukushima's NPP is also called the elephant's foot? Bro i didn't comment the previous comment just outta my ass, i was stating a fact.

2:12 That is not "Lava" it's melting fuel rods also known as the Elephants foot. Fuel rods can be made out of uranium so that could be molten Uranium. With a mix of steel from the structure and the rod casing. Also, I have seen you in B-Core. Finally, it can't blow up in real life the rods would melt and get radioactive material everywhere however an unlucky situation sometimes hydrogen can form and blow out the roof of the building which releases the radioactive gas.
the elephants foot is the shape that the nuclear material formed at the basement of chenobyl, what you are talking about is that melting fuel rods are called corium
@@haimerej-excalibur The Elephant’s foot is a mass of corium in a steam distribution corridor in the basement of Chernobyl. The "lava" is just called corium
2:12 “elephant foot”
You mean Corium since the Elephant's foot is only exclusive to Chernobyl's meltdown. Corium is the more common name for this material.
@@recreationOfHampterthat game is based on Chernobyl and since it is JUST A GAME, i think you can call it elephant's foot.

its just hard when you having people dead set on getting a blowout and the security constantly telling you off for trying to overheat the core

with meltdown, you have to lower rods to 70 percent, then disable coolant pumps in the basement, then wait.
