Your samurai is really nice. I've noticed that you really do put some nice parts on it. I know this is off subject to the video but did you take a measerements of how high you were able to lift the tires off the ground before it picks up the other wheel. I have stock shackles a spring over and 3 inch trail-gear springs. I've been told my setup is crap and my spring shackle combo have no flex. well i just wanted to see how it compares we have the same wheel offset and tire size. my front shocks are stock and i think limit my front flex, but at the same time the front has shorter springs and in my opinion is kind of stiff by nature.
Yeah, the stock springs don't flex too well but if you think you're shocks are limiting it just remove them temporarily and try to flex it out. If you get more articulation without then you should probably measure and replace. 🤙🏻
@@FortuneOffRoad well i have done some basic tests like flexing the front suspension until the rear tire is teter tottering of the ground like in my little icon pic. and i can tell the shock is maxed out but doesn't really have a lot of tension on it, but for sure its border line. its for sure maxing out its travel. I just want to see how it compares to other samurais. i can tell you one thing a yj conversion flexes way the hell more.
I have been disconnecting the rear driveshaft and it hasn't been noticeable at all. On the trail however, it has been causing a lot of sliding on obstacles. I'm considering putting a spartan in there next time I open it up. 🤙🏻
Nice job with the video editing Kyle. Looks like a great channel.
Thanks dude! 🤙🏻
Love the look of that bumper. Also love how you're fulfilling the old joke of, "Throw a Sammy in the back of the Suburban." ha ha ha ha
It will be fun to see the two trucks go head to head!
what is up Kyle

How is it flat towing with the spool in the rear of the Sami?
