Hey! Actually it’s a long story, but the name Shanti chose her. When we got pregnant with her, shanti kept coming up over and over in really cool ways. We knew immediately that Shanti was meant to be her name. We did pick it because it “cool”, but because that is her
Shanti will have a vivid memory of this wonderful events when she grown up, amazing family trip. My home town is 40 KM west from Pokhara ( Annapurna trekking region), hope you have a time to visit there as well.
Man this puts all the sustenance and off grid based channels to shame. They are actually doing it and living the life. Corn, vegetables and rice in sparse pockets of lands in the mountains.... Means only one thing... the soil there must be truly rich and undisturbed.

Means only one thing... the soil there must be truly rich and undisturbed.
Yes totally!! Now, they aren’t completely off grid because they have basic electricity, but very close to being completely remote!!
