It’s so great to see these images through your eyes. I know I will never be able to make a journey like that, being an out-of-shape 69 year old woman so it’s great to live vicariously through you💜
I split this up into 2 viewing. I just finished the 2nd half and it did not disappoint. What an amazing adventure. You do such a good job on your videos and this might be your best one yet. Thank you for sharing. You F-ing rock!
A great video. I did this in 2004, in the summer months, looking after 12 teenagers. We camped for about 15 of the days. So, did not eat such wonderful meals you and your colleagues. did. No one treks in the summer months, so we were on our own most of the time. Some of the villages you passed through after you went over the Pass have grown and it looks as if there are roads, too, linking them. It took us about 19 days. Anyway, your video gives really good views of the mountains which we didn't have because we were walking during monsoon. It is a tough trek, but certainly memorable. Your happy group of trekkers and guide makes the video more special.
Got your signature handstands in plus got to work a little of your hair magic in along the way! Such an awesome journey. One I'll never make but this was such an unexpected treat to go along with you, I can't say thank you enough. I was missing seeing any new videos here just a couple weeks ago, so I watched an old one and commented there. But this was way over the top cool!! I was really amazed at most of the food you showed us looked amazing! And with a few exceptions, the accommodations didn't look half bad considering where you were. The squatty potties would not have been my favorite thing either! This was truly a trip of a life time! So appreciate all the extra work and effort you put into this. I will be watching it again over the weekend, cause there was just so much to take in. Sorry though that you got sick, but glad there was no altitude sickness for you! Thanks Liz!❤
You made this look so easy! I did it in April of this year, it was not easy!!! I am a bit older than you, at 69, but am so thankful I was able to do it. This brought back so many memories, and we even stayed in some of the same teahouses!
I absolutely loved it, Liz! As a Nepali, I've seen countless foreigners trekking in Nepal, but your video and storytelling instantly transported me back to my beautiful country. It was so nostalgic. Mama Everest is waiting for you ❤️ You have the most amazing taste in music. Thank you🙏
So glad to finally see the video of the trip. I imagine all the pictures and videos still can’t do it justice. Thanks for taking the time to put it together.
Ahhh I forgot to mention that in the video- they recommend boots for the trek so I wore my OG salomons but looking back, not necessary. Woulda been fine in trail runners or whatever. I loved the vivo’s but been trying some new things before the pct, so we’ll see what I end up with by March haha
WOW! This trip looked amazing! I love how you stopped to interact with every animal as I would do the same exact thing lol The food all looked delicious, the landscape gorgeous and your guide and porters delightful! I would love to do something like this one day! What a fantastic video!
wow, amazing... thank you for showing that experiencing this part of he world is possible without "mountain climbing" . inspiration!..... yakkityyak yakkityyakkk!
Came across this on a random search and awesome sauce 😁 I would love to do this with my daughter as well as the Everest base camp hike and Machu Picchu. Thanks 🙏 for sharing this video it was a great way to spend my Sunday morning 🌄
Watching this after hearing about it today made it that much better! The scenery is aaaaaaamazing!!! So glad you share your adventures so I can live vicariously.
What a wonderful experience you just shared with us. I love your enthusiasm. You really bite into life and it's so inspiring. You inspired me to dread my hair and now you are inspiring me to get back on the trails. Thank you Liz 😍
I really had no idea what to expect when I heard about your trip in its planning stages but the video covered it all so well. Great trip and great video! Congratulations on the accomplishments (and for surviving that pass)!
What a awesome adventure! Loved the video and all your comments. That ride would scare the crap out of me LOL. Feel the same about some of your stays my tent would be better..... But really this was a awesome trip and video.
Liz, watching you since your appalacian days. But this was different. May be because I never thought of seeing you experience non American culture was the most exciting as I am from India. Can’t wait to see you climb Everest. ❤
3mo nothing? And now this? Awesome!! I think the first comment I left on your youtube channel was do you count the ink as base weight or a luxury item. Snarky I know, but I have been following along since,, Rock on Handstand!!!!
OH LIZ by the way Thanks for all the videos I Strated a channel /creator and Im Hiking the Triple crown starting 2025 -2026 AT nobo/CDT nobo/PCT sobo your invited to watch what you helped created LOL!!🤪seriously THANK YOU your and others thru hikes helped me alot God Bless. and whats up with the tree house ?
So many people just hike over the pass and call that a Circuit... You at least walked more than that including Tatopani - Ghorepani - Nayapul ( even though that is not the true end of AC). Real AC was originally all the way Pokhara - Pokhara, we walked Dumre - Pokhara twice in the eighties, about 4 weeks including Annapurna Sanctuary, only us at the Thorong La... Roads have ruined the AC for me (also 2006 and 2009) now, sad, it was the best long trek in Nepal for many reasons. Video of 1984 and -86 AC treks here: ruclips.net/video/wxXPsO0Zuzo/видео.html
I am shocked to hear that 20 years of experienced guide giving wrong information about Mt. Annapurna. You can’t see Annapurna I from Manang Valley, one can only see Annapurna 2,3 and 4 from Manang valley.
It’s so great to see these images through your eyes. I know I will never be able to make a journey like that, being an out-of-shape 69 year old woman so it’s great to live vicariously through you💜
Wow this was the best 1 1/2 hour video!!! Good job Liz on this amazing story.
Thank youuuu🥰
