Typical complaint. I think FF15 looks gorgeous. Time is moving on, and so must trends. I love the old Final fantasy games, but each one was different in their own way. That's why each one was good in their own perspective. Granted, not everyone will like the same final fantasy as much as others. I like FFX way more than 7, and I personally didn't like 7, with an exception of crisis core. I appreciated playing from Zack Fairs point of view more than Clouds. FF15 will be very successful, the gameplay looks solid, and the graphics are astonishing. Just because it's not turn based, doesn't mean it isn't gonna be just good, if not better than all the other final fantasy games.

+Ellewyn "look's" yes, it does look nice but just because it has good graphics doesn't mean the game is going to be enjoyable. The battle system was mind numbingly boring, yes hopefully it could change but we'll see about that.
Mark Bailey if all you can muster is that small proportion of my rant, then you don't see the big picture. Visually, the game looks great. The gameplay is a big step up from episode duscae. Even the 2.0 patch. Judging from how you're already being condescending towards a game, so easily. I assume your favorite final fantasy game was 13. It was more of a interactive movie, than a game. But it was still good in its own perspective.

Try Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core its a precuel so you dont need anything more, and (for me) the best game ever (music/characters/story -made me cry)
And the combat? well its kind of like this one (not ultra fancy) but this FFXV combat is based on CrisisCore+kindom hearts.

oh excuse me for having an opinion. First of all i'm not a kid and just because i didn't grow up with all those ''great'' games from the past that you like so much but i don't, that doesn't mean that you have to act so pissed about it. I just think that turn based combat is stupid because it doesn't make any sense to me when my character and the enemys are just standing there,only leave their position when they attack and you as the player are doing nothing but choosing which attack you want to use and which enemy is the target and then just watch your character do it instead of doing it yourself. thats the stupid thing about turn based combat

I really like this kind of gameplay, i have played alot of turned base finalfantasy games before but i always wanted a FF game to be like this.. FF12 was almost like this but still it was turned base.. cant wait to try this out when it comes out!

So glad I've been a loyal Final Fantasy fan my whole life. I've been waiting for this game for so long and I also going to get a FF7 Remake. Can't ask for anything more than the upcoming content. Going to miss the old school tactical battle system, but they need to make some updates for the new kids.

eh i think you mean japanese dub. and yes there will be japanese and english dub as well. also the game will include 7 sub too so there will be japanese sub too xd. (+ english,russian,brazilian-portugese,spanish,german,france,japanese)

There is no problem with this type of combat. It is all about how balanced it is and how nice the mechanics feel.
Turn based combat is only good for balance but the mechanics are almost non-existant. That goes for final fantasy 7 remake aswell.
This game actually looks really cool! I can't wait until it comes out so KH3 can come out

Game of the century! Cannot wait until release, I know what people are saying that its killed the Final Fantasy franchise but at the same time I can understand that they need to make it fresh and take it in a different direction. Personally I prefer the ATB system, in my opinion you can't beat that but I am still not gonna dismiss it

This is natural progression. This IS Final Fantasy and hopefully its resurgence into the market.
This is so much more dynamic, I love it. Granted I still love the old ones, nothing wrong with the old turned based system.

It's holding the fantasy elements, mixed with a modern act ve combat and skilled leveling system of the years gone by. It',s totally natural progression of the medium.
