0:41 The Impulse detonation snap while Clive is facing away from Gigas/in recovery from Zantetsuken is one of the sickest things I've seen someone do in this game. Had no idea you could chain the animations together like that.
Now imagine how even more peak the combat could've been if it didn't had those stupid cooldowns to deal with An MP/ATB bar that builds up as you fight would fix all of the issues
Yeah, you can get through the game spamming each Eikons cinematic ability, but thats no fun! I like using all mobility stuff and it just elevates the entire experience when you work out how to do flashy combos!

Yes the combat was made by the same guy who did the combat for DMC.
Can't wait for more EIKONS in the next DLC
Even though the combat was directed by the same guy from DMC V I would argue that FFXVI feels more akin to Dragons Dogma combat than DMC

Agreed... with a Combo count but then it would be too much of a DMC game.
Guess the kept it as is to keep it as close to FF as possible
