Awesome work! Guitar sounds and plays great. Synergy upgrades really made a difference hitting all the various points. Since added a solid black pick guard and pickup mounting ring that really sets off its good looks.🙂
I'm almost done redoing this same guitar. Looks nothing like it did. Refinished in nitrocellulose, faber bridge, reshaped headstock, vintage style gotoh tuners, all high end parts, modeled after a 54' gibson jr. Completely redone
Thanks for sharing this helpful video. I just started teaching myself through RUclips videos how to setup and perform basic upgrades to my guitar. I have a question... Which TUSQ nut did you buy for the Epi b/c it look like a drop in replacement. Unless you filed it down off camera. Thanks.
I think I did do some filing/sanding off camera. I don't know if I've actually ever bought one that fits perfectly, but i remember this one didn't need much. Most companies make them just slightly bigger than needed it seems. I couldn't find the exact one he ended up buying but always measure and make sure the string spacing is correct too.
I think it was this one from stew mac: www.stewmac.com/parts-and-hardware/all-hardware-and-parts-by-instrument/electric-guitar-parts/electric-guitar-bridges-and-tailpieces/non-trem-electric-guitar-bridges/adjustable-wraparound-bridge/

Will klusons fit without reaming tuner holes?
Hard to answer that here. Depends on which ones but I don't think so.
Can you make a video on just installing a new pickup for this guitar in regular speed
Hey! Unfortunately I don't have the original video anymore... You can change the playback speed to be slower though.
If you take the TRC off first, the nut comes off a lot easier with no risk when it’s an older, dried out, cover.
Thanks!
What company did you buy the bridge from?
