that positive tinsel looks real close to the basket id check make sure there isn't no touching and grounding out check it make sure there aint a black mark on the tinsel so ya don't mess sub or amp up id find away to bend that positive ware that tinsel connects to the post to give it some more slack

When checking the ohms of a sub, the cone moving with even a breeze can make the ohms jump all over the place.
Build a proper box and show it playing to the dude you traded it from and he'll want it back. :)

Looks like a nice sub.
Ohm load bounces around due to not being in a closed environment... when your outside like that with a sub in a open vehicle anything that causes that cone to vibrate or move will throw off your ohm load so it's best to check it inside your house or in its enclosure.

Need to grab u a big bottle of gorilla wood glue or a bottle of tight bond 2 and put the glue on the inside seems of the box let it dry over night also u may need some gasket material for the sub to seal to the box looks promising tho.

Now, what you could do is copy the measurements of that box to build it again but better. I think that box is too small though. Just my guess. The math to figure out the cubic foot is: 12x12x12=1728 (1728÷1728= 1 cubic foot.)

I am a huge fan of car audio and to be honest if anyone looking for a budget setup qpower 12 inch 3000 watts are qpower 15 inch deluxe 4000 watts are a complete monster. Qpower is overlooked by many people but overall performance it's shit on alot.of top notch brands. I wish you would grant me the wish to post a video about the qpower 12 r 15 inch budget banger. It looks like the box may be way too small for that sub, I believe you can build a better box for it if you find all the info on the sub that you can input in a box build program especially if it was "made" for a 15" you know they are not the same

Less box volume means it'll be punchier, less boomier. Thats about it. Depending on what scraps you have you laying around you could extend it and get more volume if you dont want to build from scratch. With that much airleak im willing to bet his Cut-out Game aint strong.
