I’m so glad you mentioned the pedals.Lots of drum teachers say that kids should learn on an actual kick tower and pedal.My students who are 3-5 years old cannot push the pedal to the tower they simply don’t have the muscle for it .I chose 4 Alesis debut drumkits for this reason and the children can manipulate the pedals easily without frustration.
