Removable battery allows for just replacing the batteries or pack if it falls or weakens - which is almost universal with the embedded battery designs given enough time. This cuts down on overall waste. Now - if the question is whether or not they should include a rechargeable - but replaceable pack? Legitimate question.
Unless they make out like the elite 2. It’s amazing how long the internal battery lasts. 40 hours. If you ever need to charge and game the cable is massive too. I hated the PS4 controller mostly for the horrible battery. Anything less than 20 hours and I’ll rather have replaceable batteries. I had a battery pack with 4 batteries that lasted me 50 hours on a single charge
@@vitorfernandes651 Yeah, but it's still not more convenient than just swapping out batteries. I wish they kept AA's to retain compatibility with my batteries.
I really feel for those who are going to get suckered into buying a supped of version of the Xbox One X. Save your money and buy the XSX. 4 tera flops vs 10. What's a $100 more.
Key word is SAVE your money. No need to rush. By next year you can just walk into a store or buy one online. Why the itch for sudden gratification. Anyway to each his/her own. Bless
For those in the comments not only was the battery ungraded for a longer life(not charge life) BUT with the new C charger it is faster safer and much easier to use all with a new better grip, trust it makes the feeling better than ever
I hope they release a version with a disc drive or an external disc drive option. I don't quite care about the high end series x, I am good with the series S, but have a library of older gen games on disc.. sucks having to pay $220 CDN extra to have a disc drive.
IMO I don't want to buy batteries every time when i run out so it's a con I know it will last longer but it's nice if you can just charge it in your home
You are a fool! Xbox controllers have the option of charge packs which do the same job as a internal battery and you can replace if they die instead of buying a whole new controller. Also I have rechargable batteries anyway. I like choice
Dude, if the battery is inbuilt and it’s outta juice, then you’re stuck with either a dead wireless controller or a working, annoying, wired one. I still think AA’s are the better option. If you’re concerned about the environment buy a couple of pairs of rechargeable AA’s and you’re good to go always. That’s what I always do.
“The UK has the best plug shape and that’s all there is to it” definitely bulkiest. I find it weird that other countries don’t have switches on the sockets lol
Also the live and neutral recepticals are not accessable without pushing something into the earth pin, so the socket is safer, although getting your leg caught on a wire on UK spec doesn't pull the plug out so more trio hazardy
The Xbox series x doesn't even look like a next gen console. Its looks like Xbox SAD edition got a mid gen upgrade. It honestly looks like they just made an xbox one x, all digital and called it next gen. Smh
For the controller they should just include the play and charge kit . But they should keep it so that down the line you could use disposable battery's. That way 20 years from now you can still use the controller.
4 years later I'm using your video to help me package the thing back up to sell. I'm selling it to help pay for the PS5 I've just ordered. FYI my controller did stay nice & white! 😊

@@thereversesavitar3899 That's your opinion. I think that it's a very reasonable price for a next gen console for which games will still be coming out for 5 years from now.
