Hilton Columbus Downtown

Columbus is now officially home to Ohio’s largest hotel. The 28-story Hilton Columbus Downtown opened to guests in September 2022.

Since the new tower is connected through a skybridge to the existing 12-story Hilton across High Street, the two buildings contain a grand total of 1,000 hotel rooms, all attached to the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Additionally, the hotel buildings boast 75,000 square feet of meeting space, 22,000 square feet of pre-function space, and 40 different meeting and breakout rooms.
Columbus Underground was invited to a recent media tour of the building which showcased the building’s lobby, a corner suite on the 14th floor, a fourth floor event space, and FYR, the hotel’s signature restaurant, which served its first diners in October.
Opening on the rooftop of the building in early 2023 is "Stories on High" - which is being touted as Columbus’ tallest rooftop bar - once complete.
Also notable is the building’s art collection, which showcases nearly 400 original works - all by local artists.
The project’s design and construction team includes Smoot Construction, Turner Construction Company, architect Cooper Carry, and interior designer Jeffrey Beers International.
